I'm pretty intrested how this will affect the Nvcleanstall projects future. Will it be still better to install drivers with it or Nvidia finally tries to provide the best performance for us?
I'm using NVclean and profilemanager etc... does this new Nvidia app run in the bg or only opens when needed? Is the overlay better than RTSS? Does it noodle around with custom driver settings? You're the guy to ask. =)
@@iamakash_ I haven't done it yet. I've seen a few videos that said it's not worth it if you NVclean and and profile manager. the new app looks nice but is still pretty shallow in terms of what it surfaces to the user. Hopefully in the future it adds everything. I don't think you can even set dual monitors up in it from what I've been told.
Also very curious. I usually dont see the point in improving performance of games by 1% just to decrease it again by running some bloatware in the background.
So I did my own research and testing with games, and come to the conclusion that this is just bloatware. It does nothing at all. It has no impact on performance other than settings like scaling ofc. I mean tbh the control panel "tweaks" have been useless for years now too. Even if you have low end hardware, you will gain nothing or nothing noticeable. There are a few very good videos about why this kind of stuff has become nothing more than clickbait. edit: the best performance gain is still to find the best driver for your gpu and install it with NVclean installer. Often times you can gain a few % more fps just by going to a better driver. Especially in Helldivers 2 I got like 10 fps going from current driver to an older one. On the other hand no control panel shenanigans did anything in Helldivers 2. Just one of many examples, WoW is the same.
No way! I was just nvclean install new driver and thought about why they wouldn't just make an app thats more polished and brand new. Yet now here it is! 😁
can anyone help i have a problem downloading nividia app i try it it says relaunch or reinstall and reboot ur pc i did that nothing happened and if i try installing it it installs again
They should include gpu fan profiles, then i will uninstall msi afterburner. Thanks for the video, i think i will give it a shot (without uninstalling afterburner, for gpu fan control).

I like a option to change the size and color of the statistic like Fps and such because right now it’s just white and hard to see when u play the games.
There is no performance impacts. For one when the overlay is not overlaying, it's not running. Second of all if the overlay is overlaying, multiplane overlays stops it from increasing latency. Since technically it forces your game out of full screen. Nvidia is not dumb.
@@xxshywolf620 there's always some sort of performance impacts with overlays, even more so when filters and recording/instant replay is turned on. clean installing drivers is the best option if you want the best performance.

HELP! I have a Brazilian Lenovo Legion 2022 5i i7 12700H RTX3060 (and screen with 45% sRGB, something like this), and the images at games are so bad! Even playing in my television, the images doesn't have definition, sharpness, are worse (in this part) than at my Acer Aspire 5 Ryzen 7 5700u Integrated Graphics! How can this happen?!? I play at my TV, the resolution and fps are configured OK, everything's OK, but even at the TV the same image is better at Aspire than Legion!!! HELP ME! I use the Geforce Experience to improve sharpness at games, but doesn't get beautiful, it gets better but not beautiful, it gets exagerated!!! My Acer came perfect for using, my Lenovo even I changing things at NVIDIA Panel doesn't solve the question, the image barely change!
What is not covered in any of the information about this app. The first question any tech content creator should be asking. Do we uninstall GeForce Experience? Do we uninstall nVidia Control Panel? nVidia themselves don't even provide any suggestions about the soon to be replaced apps.
i love how they make its so it doesn't even launch for me and then I cant even do my original control panel settings because it does not install anymore
Should we uninstall the control panel app? or does that still stay and use both along side each other? or should we completely remove nvidia drivers first, then install the app + drivers.
Having the driver options, driver updates, a better UI, better recording settings, instant clips in an all in one app without login now is worth it, unless you're running a potato 🥔

The only problem about my GeForce Experience is that I can't login my fb account, it only shows white screen so I can't do a Broadcast stream on fb. How do I fix this problem?
In Geforce Experience Overlay, you used to be able to change the Fanspeed from the gpu. I didn't find it on the Nvidia App, i hope they will add this feature too cause i always max up the fans when i play games so it doesnt get hot fast, but when i just chill and watch videos or just do some tasks, i want my pc to be quiet and i put the fans down. If someone knows how i can do it with the Nvidia App that would be cool.
This app fucked up as much as Experience. You will see good lovely fps drops, w/o experience system was working way better with higher fps. This app causing same problem do not use it. Old control panel works fine you dont need this app..
This filter will be applied across all profiles Relaunch game to see the effects of this filter well iv relaunched the game a 100 times and multiple games for that matter just to be told to relaunch shut done and restarted my pc and still no results, wtf is this trash ass garbage and how do i fix
1:38 “The launcher should open”. Should have added, “but probably won’t“. After an hour of totally wiping my system of existing Nvidia set-up, the Nvidia App installer still won’t work. That’s enough of the Beta for me. Good luck to everyone QA-ing the $2 trillion company’s wonky software! 😂
should I still do a clean driver install and install this new app on top of it or how does this change anything? Just wanted to install a custom driver but then I saw this
Never downloading a beta software again. Dealt with annoying bugs and glitches before, wasn't fun. I honestly like the old version more, we don't need everything to be modern
Maybe someone can help? I've installed the app, quite like it, BUT>>> when I alt/tab the app loses focus on the game and sits behind it, then if I try to record/clip, it records one frame of the game vid and all the audio. I can't get the focus back to the game. Anyone else have this issue? 😩
