I remember discord heavily affecting my CPU when I owned an OC'd i5-9600k. I resorted to using a different Discord client that discord don't allow and that helped. This is much better alternative to those issues though.
I rarely apply your full settings, but I have positive feedback regarding the Discord app after the changes. I have a Razer Viper 8k which causes stuttering in Apex Legends when Discord is open. After the changes, no more stuttering. The only changes I made was deleting the excess folders, so I appreciate the information & explanation!
dont put the razer 8k on 8k polling rate, put it on 1000hz = 1ms ... more than 4000 will suck up cpu usage while making fast mouse moves... its not discord
I have the same mouse, AMD 5900X, Win11 optimized. Put it on 2000Hz, and above 2000DPI to have enough data for 2000Hz polling rate. I do 2000Hz and 3200DPI and reduce sensitivity in-game. The mouse is butter smooth and very stable at that frequency. It's a fantastic mouse TBH.
NOTE: If you stream using obs, make sure to turn Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling off, or you'll have severe screen tearing and stuttering while streaming
I have watched most of your videos and followed all and now i can play games on my potato pc. I have pentium processor 4 gb ram and intel hd graphics with windows 10.after your tweaks i am able to play valorant and fortnite on low settings... Thanx a lot PANJNO.
I get pretty much good fps like in valorant i get 60 to 120 fps. Yeah there are somedrops... But ut doesn't matter looking my specs. And in fortnite also some drops but happy that i can play without lagging.
Great Video, I didn't knew about the Process Lasso program. Consider making a video about optimizing Steam since it's running in background almost all the time
Well most likely it shouldn't, but either you do everything except the audio stuff (+ don't delete krisp) or you just disable everything 1 by 1 and test if audio is still good
Other than spellcheck, which I want to keep because I always make typos, I have no idea whether or not I use or want to use those folders within modules because I don't know what each of them do. If you make a video more thoroughly explaining what each one does and how it effects your voice I'd watch the shit out of it.
Hey man! Love your channel! I would love to see a video on how to optimize FFXIV (also I believe it would be good for your channel, since the game have been really popular lately)
A lot of great info here, but you treat it like a speedrun. Can I suggest you slow down a little bit so we don't need to pause 100 times to in order to follow.
Panjno I have this issue where after doing the optimizations I am not able to Ping other people in my dms but I am able to do it in a server... has this issue occurred to anyone else? If yes, does anyone know how to resolve it? (i tried uninstalling and installing discord again but that didn't work) pls help me.
You had me in the first half, then you suggested hardware accelerated GPU scheduling and game mode on, and I completely lost faith. BOTH of those, for me, have absolutely been detrimental to solid frame rates...
Just wondering if you could make an updated video for rust. I tried using the one you posted a year ago but many of the things featured are no longer there.
Hey appreciate all the tuts so far I have a gtx 1650ti i7 10750h 8gb ram Can u make a maxed overclock vids for these too and other specs it’ll help a lot
i have a question to ask if that is okay, please reply if you see this. after turning the hardware acceleration option off, and turning it back on, text formatting and emojis have completely stopped showing for me in the text bar. is this normal?
imma be honest, i thought i needed this video but i forgot i upgraded to a 5600x, its not the best cpu but i always play games with two discords running. and one of them always has video on because of my ldr, AND cpu util is only 10% because of the two discords
hey panjno, i am having alot of issues with cold war. the game is really lagy and getting a lot of fps drops. I didn't do anything like changes settings before. i tried all ur cold war fixes but nothing realy works. even changes the in game setting it doesn't even effect anything only my fps. can you maybe help me?
@Panjno Sir, i have some issues related to valorant.... when i start playing a match it gives me a good fps of 50-60 ... but after 3-4 rounds .. it lags so much for 30sec to 1 min and fps drops down to 10-20 ... and then it works fine for next 3-4 rounds ... this happens to me 5-6 times in a single match .. plz tell some solution ...
isn't discord malware? it uses 20% of my cpu even after reboot, sometimes it goes up to 30-40%, and no matter how much I look, there is no information about it ANYWHERE. the only thing everyone says is disable hardware acceleration. Yes, I turned it off and on a hundred times, it does not change anything. while my video processor in 4k loads only 13%, 15 open tabs in firefox only 5%
i have the same setup as your for streaming warzone 5900x bdie ram 3600mhz 3080 but do u recommend game mode and gpu acceleration off like in your previous video or on??
@@nevartojau incorrect. Everyone is wrong about this. GPU acceleration helps if you're playing competitive games at very low settings, because 99% of the time you're going to be CPU-bound, so it's better to let the GPU take over those tasks if they're running in the background. Same goes for Chrome, Spotify etc. Keep hardware acceleration ON and do NOT listen to these guides randomly telling you to keep these off. Only turn them off if your GPU is crap or if your game is GPU-intensive (single player games, if you're playing on high settings/high res etc). For 99% of people, this is not the case though.
@@xblur17 having gpu acc on in discord won't help a game. I was talking about discord. It has a setting for it. Trust me, 5900X can run discord without gpu acc. Turn of gpu acc in every single app, have game mode and HAGS on. In any scenario with 5900X.
