So Shorten my Wires on my WPL is not going to change anything. I found a bad Solder on my Power plug from esc. Made a huge difference just better solder job. I did shorten my Power wires when i fixed it.... It was acting weird After I would Throttle it, when battery would Discharge. Would go into Protection mode i guess and Cut the power from Esc in half. Fixed that wire and got Full use of my 370 motor. Thank you for All your videos. I have learned so much in 5 months.

That's what she said! lol Did you ever get the wire loom in to sell? I was just looking and couldn't find it on the site searching "loom" or in the wiring accessories tab. There are also charts out there that will tell you what amp load each AWG is good for, depending on the length of the wire.

I cut the wires down and use 20amp connector blocks. Makes life easier if I have to change a motor when I'm out. Pre solder some hefty stuff onto the spare 😉

I remember when I tested my 240A brushless ESC and 1.5T 540 motor over 14 years ago, all the wires were dancing due to the high amp draw. I actually rated the ESC 200A mainly due to all the lipos I tested it with hit the cut off while drawing 200A max. If I was still in the hobby with the new lipos claiming such high C ratings, I could probably see the full potential of my very old, but still very powerful 10th scale brushless ESC. I might make it more powerful if an idea I have could be done lol.

Are there any rule of thumb regarding mix matched gauge wires? Is it okay to have 12 gauge Lipo wires with 13 gauge ESC wires and 18 gauge motor wires?

How about those servo wires. I have a giant Holmes 2000 1/5 servo with baby servo wires and I wonder if it would have benefited from having larger wires. My BEC has two plugs that go into receiver. This is a great video topic, look forward to seeing more like it

@@HolmesHobbies Like in combination to the servo wire? That would probably allow for lots of juice then. Jst is not rated for much by itself if I recall correctly?
