Typically optimization videos show each setting coupled with its visual and performance impact. Anyone can turn down settings... People wanna know why they should and if the sacrifice is worth it.
For people WITHOUT a rtx 4000 card, use the amd upscaler and put it on AA. then you can use FRAME generation, yes, even without a AMD card. AMD saved the day once again ^^
@@loafobutter696 I dont feel the delay, just activate nvidia boost and try to have 60 fps before you use it. the more fps you have before using it, the better it is.
just remember people, it is the GAME that is the problem, NOT your hardware, played games that needed far more than this game, played them on ultra settings and had zero problems, this game is just badly optimized, i have friend with a 3060 complaining about this game, think about that
I have a 1650 so obviously not very good but I launch the game and my cpu is 100 usage, even thought it's temp and my gpu is around 49-55 c, is this normal I can't find anything online
I finally discovered that DLSS Frame Gen was giving me so many frequent lag spikes and freezes, so I just turned it off until it's fixed. For now, the problems have subsided. I have a 12600k and a 4070, so it's 100% not my setup.
Funny how red dead 2 and ghost of tsushima works stable at 60 on high ultra and this game i get 30 or 20 fps with terrible graphics and its locked at low
The game runs fine on my 6900XT. Settings maxed out. FSR to keep fans from getting too loud with my aggressive custom fan curve. Your system might not be able to handle the game properly or maybe in game or system settings aren't optimized.
Am i the only one who has no issues with preformance until vesper and Echo swa ? , like those 2 openworld marshland/woods, gives me HUGE preformance drops in into the 20-40´ish, while the rest of the game can do about 50-80Fps on a 12600k/32gb + RX6800XT 16g, + on a sn750 nvme-ssd. It seems those worlds are super unoptimized compared to the rest of the game.
3:47 Ray tracing on the lowest setting was bogging my game down. I literally couldn’t get above 35fps with it turned on. As soon as I turned it off I shot up to over 60fps. They really need to work on optimizing that lol.
That's cause ray tracing is nothing but eye candy that seriously hurts performance. It's a gimmick that native gpu's can't truly run without gimmick software to help it. It's not really worth using. It's good marketing to get people to buy gpu's I guess.

Worked pretty damn well for my 2019 omen gaming laptop. I'll be using your tutorials for other games. also everyone, keep in mind this game isnt built or optimized the best, so you will get shitty frames sometimes. it happens with a lot of games like these, so dont worry.
the new FSR 3.1 and improved frame Gen. i use R5 3600, 5600XT with 32GB RAM and i use a mix of settings between Medium and Ultra and use AMD Quality FRame Gen and its alot smoother than it was starting out!
I have been playing this game for 130hrs on a 7730u AMD laptop with 40GB RAM and so far I prefer to play with FSR off as it drops the graphics so much from my humble integraded graphics, but in your video it looks so good. I'll have to rebuy a gaming pc in the future
Guys who don't have high-end PC put every single G option on Medium (there Is only diference between Med and Ultra in quality), unlimited FPS, DLSS on quality, nVidia reflex: boost. I have 3060 8gb and with this setup hits stable 75 fps. If game don't have connection hickup. For everyone. It's Unreal Engine game, lowering FX and shadows gives you back most of lost fps.
If you just want FPS increase, AMD frame generation on, just need to toggle that on, dont matter balance quality performance mode and dont use DLSS trash, 0 % increase and decrease in any kind of modes But Frame generation got a problem, which is you pc still running in low fps but it just smooth out for you , to made you feels better in display, and the game still running in low fps, when you moving your mouse.. feel like you are playing controller not keyboard mouse
yeah sadly, have 200fps in the first zones, and later on Drops to 70 we need Performance Changes imo Just some Changes in our Side Looks shiny at First Glace but wont Help overall in later Maps or filled fights this is the biggerst doomer of the Game imo and the "20%" drops
Yes, I always spawn in to infiltration missions and have to run most of the time to catch up to other people. Or when I do a colossi fight, I sometimes spawn in just as everyone killed it. Sad. lulz
Just a reminder the lastest hotfix destroyed performance, even on a 3060 I'm getting low fps outta nowhere, we just gotta hope the devs have a fix which no far they don't so far they recommend re-installing the game but I also noticed each region has varying levels of FPS I just got to the fortress and I have over 100 and over 60 but in other regions I'll be playing and out of nowhere I'll get 3 fps all of a sudden making fights and grappling impossible sometimes.
for anyone like me that dont own a rtx4000 and 4k monitor :- i got rtx3070 on 1440p - put everything to medium - DLSS quality - 70-100fps - Gi , Texture , Effect to high , mid fps impact , more pretty visual on lightning , texture of coz =.=" , and skill effect , optional - vegetation to low , heavy fps impact , more grass less grass doesnt really matter , seriously just put on low - visibility to low , heavy fps impact , game is beauty enough that dont need long distance rendering , optional - shadow , never go above high , unless can handle , high fps impact ,, however low shadow looks really shit - RT? not needed imo , high fps impact , medium RT can be ignored , just off it , only makes dark area darker and lightning brighter - object means certain map objects , put on low then it appear invisible from far , go really close only object become visible , medium is good for most map - physics? honestly idk wut da feq is that , there is no bouncing boobs or jiggle ass , low mid high ultra , i dont really see the differences - if u on 1080p , this definitely look good enough , except a shitty map called echo swamp , turn visibility shadow reflection post-processing shader to low if u laggin real bad. still suffering? then use performance mode for upscaling that u like , amd dlss bla bla bla bla , i know . . . everything will be blurry AF , but u dont have a choice , that being said , high/ultra shadow Gi texture reflection effect really make the game amazing , especially on a later map white-night gulch , but no , not worth the performance impact , u not playing a "nice ass gun girl walking simulation game". for even older gen GPU? sorry thats not my problem, solve it urself.

Correction for what ever reason reinstalling my driver brought me to the 200 mark before launch in menu now brings me to 60-80 for what ever reason and in game can't achieve 100+ anymore... For what ever reason guess game decides when it feels like giving u the fps
U should test it at Swamp Special Operation - Defend Albion Resource with 4 people. I bet it will shred ur fps to 30-40 even with med settings. I use r5 5600 RX6600 with SSD 16gb RAM 3600Mhz. This game need serious optimization per area.
i have a 4080 and an i9 i was getting like 220 fps and now my game lags and stutters randomly all of a sudden and i get like 90-100 ish when enemies spawn etc so ill probably just wait for an optimization update
Same here.. i have a 4070ti, 32gb ram and a i7-13700F. Game is smooth for like 45 mins to an hour then i get 3 random freezes back to back lasting a second each completely random.
Lock the fps to 60 and activate frame generation to double the frames to run at 120 FPS, my system is a Rysen 7 7700X with an RX 7800 XT, I play at 2K resolution I can play at 120 FPS, using FSR in quality mode and locking at 60 FPS and using frame generation I can get 120 FPS, without activating ray tracing.
@@Profetorum The frame generation does not generate latency, I tested it playing both on the keyboard and mouse and on the XBOX controller, do the tests, it works perfectly.
@@oldlifeorig5028 I play at 2k resolution, when I leave the FPS unlocked I get an average of 95 FPS, in the graphics on ultra, without ray tracing, and with FSR quality mode the video card is around 100% usage, when I crash the FPS at 60, I activate vsync, I activate the frame generation, I get 120FPS with 70% use of the video card, the frame generation gives me more FPS and I save the use of the video card and energy too.
Before last update I used to have on rog ally and Lenovo legion go 100 plus fps but now last update I don’t know what devs done but is almost unplayable plus fps is like 60 or lower

I used these settings leaving off RTX, DLSS and the other gimicks on a 4080s. Game looks like its 10 years old but runs at 144fps and capped it there. Sometimes dips to 133 but can run well everywhere in the game. I either have a bad card or this is a bad game. There is no way it should run this badly. Gforce experience wants to run to everything ultra with all the gimicks on. And then it gets 40fps which is unbearable on bunny. Anyone thanks Panjo great advice.
This was absolutely useless. Those were the default windows settings and all you have done is shown what works best for your card. There's more useful information in the comments than in the video. This game just performs super poorly on AMD Radeon video cards not to mention the amount of system resources it sucks up while it executes some rather intrusive data collection. No setting or change was enough to lower the extra 12 degrees hotter (Celsius) my Raedeon was running at. I mean damn GPU was at a consistent %98 usage. The game was using more than 14gb of memory.. just the game. I don't have these issues in any other game. This game is just trash for now.

Hello I have a 4070 and a 7600x, this game skyrockets to 100% usage and 90 plus degrees on launch. What do I do. I have good cooling,good thermal paste. And this is one of the only games that does it, could it be a glitch?
Try to limit your FPS in NVIDIA Control Panel>Manage 3D settings>Max Frame Rate to below you monitor refresh rate, depending on how bad the problem is maybe to 90/120/140. Some janky games on release can have an unlimited FPS in the game menus or cutscenes which can fuck up the GPU, usually the more powerful ones. Also try to disable Nvidia Reflex, it tries to squeeze as much power as possible from your GPU in order to reduce input lag.
Hey man, have you looked up how to use curve optimizer and undervolting for your CPU? Not in this game but for Bf2042, I wanted lower temps on my 7800X3D. I found out my motherboard had a preset for undervolting and power limiting built right in. Even if you don't have it nicely preset, you can change some values and it helps a lot. All undervolting does is that it let's the CPU go at higher speeds but at the same power draw. And overall with power limiting, you will be able to limit the heat, and then combine that with undervolting, you still get good performance at the same time. Look up tutorials and watch carefully before doing it!
@@thatsreallyamoon I did, it’s not worth it. It’s a temporary fix. Works fine for the first week or couple of weeks and becomes unstable. I just lower my cpu vcore to a stable amount. You don’t lose any performance and keep same clock speeds. Only thing pbo does better is thermal throttle limit and that you get an extra 200 clock speeds at max temp.
@@mkeefe4248 I see. Well in my case, I was doing a itx small case build with a smaller cooler, so it really helped me a lot. Dropped like 5-10C and raised clocks to max for the 7800x3d. Just wanted to check if you had gone through, but looks like you have.
Bro, the FPS stays the exact same with the exception to shadows and Global illumination the other settings do aboslutely nothing for me , DLSS quality gives 10 fps increase on SOME scenes this game is sht.
so i have updated my drivers for my GPU and all that stuff. but when i look at task manager, the game is using ZERO percent GPU. I guess I could do the GPU Scheduling to make it work but I hear it does more bad than good. thoughts?

@@BabaYaga0713 nothing noticeable. im playing in borderless window, no cap, nvidia balanced, reflex boost, no vsync or gsync and a custom preset mix of medium and textures and AA in ultra. And low post processing and motion blur disabled
If your game plays already at high fps and you add frame gen, it will still feel like high fps latency. If your game runs at 30 and you add frame gen it will still feel like 30, thats the "latency" people are mentioning. More frames=more responsiveness for the longest time but frame gen seperates it, it adds more visual frames but not more responsiveness. So it looks better but feels like whatever the og framerate. Personally I'd never use frame gen without gsync+a starting framerate of 60fps.
I got a 1050 ti and bro this shit took me from 10 fps WITH STUTTERS ONTOP AND FREEZING TO 60 FPS +. Its fkin rare to find a fps guide that actually works. GG
@@bimbims8796 The devs are using unreal engine 5 with the default options for the most part, unfortunately unreal engine 5 defaults are designed for tech demos with ray tracing pre enabled, along with nanite, virtual shadow maps, etc... and yes the game probably looks amazing when maxed out, but the devs didn't bother adding toggles for this new tech to be turned off, because it really does kill your fps
