The nicest proper gentleman I ever met lived next door. He had the most amazing collection of gems, mineral and geodes and i got to dust the glass display cases. Wow and i even got my first bloody nose jumping on furniture and landing on my face. He was my best friend he didn’t treat me bad. One day one of the kids i used to play with told her brother about this man and his treasures and her brother’s and crew went a beat my best friend to death. My dad an Korian war Marines Veteran was in radio news and literally tolled me after picking me up from morning kindergarten class. That was Jan 1966 in Oakland CA and the Black Panthers were aggressively changing and the Hell’s Angels also Marine veteran Mr. Berger protected the families during the riots.. We moved to Eureka Ca were the great sequoia redwoods became my back yard. I’m sure those whom continue hurting themselves sending what they send don’t even know about my Rock friend they’re too young or don’t care.
