Sally got me. When asked about her mom. That cut deep. Then Wiping her dad's tears and saying "be strong like me" I truly hope she has a happy life today. That little girl has been through a lot in her short life. 😢
It cut very deep. As an ex cop in South Africa it is difficult not to be emotional. Being Law enforcement can be very difficult. Its an emotional roller-coaster because there are good cops out there. It affects them emotionally "PTSD" Know one will ever understand unless they have been in law enforcement. 😭
The little girl saying, be strong like me broke my heart. I hope he fixed whatever issue he had going on, so she wouldn't have to deal with anything like that again.
Me too. When I heard that and her telling him not to cry I felt a sob catch in my own throat. Poor little girl has had a tough go. I’m not condoning dad’s behavior, but I’m not going to judge. I have no idea their struggles.
Oh Sally baby girl, I truly hope you had an amazing future ahead of you. Sweet girl. Glad Im not the only one left in tears by her. Wiping daddys tears away killed me.
That was brutal to watch. Hearing her say "be strong like me Daddy" knowing she already lost her Mom. That whole interaction was a rough watch. I hope Sally has a better life today and found happiness, not falling into the addiction that her dad clearly has with 7 revocations.

A good father - other than the fact that he puts her in a car with stolen plates and drives around creating this whole heartbreaking scene for his little girl
@@1foolishcaribou195 The kid clearly loved her dad very much. I highly doubt he is a terrible father. Might have made some bad decisions but it's quite obvious that he is good to her.

Bruh, he kissed her on the lips, that's some degen behaviour
It’s a killer idea to know that your own daughter is so beautiful and concerned about you rather than her, what a beautiful love, I experienced this in my life, and never take that for granted, ever!!!
My son in law is a retired Marine. Solid man of Honor through and through. He quit being a Cop cuz it broke his hart to see kids suffer. Now, he and my daughter are Foster Parents.
Poor Sally!! My heart broke for her. I hope she and her father went on to have a much better life and she never had to deal with something like that again. You can tell her father loves her so much I hope he had the strength to do better for her. I wish we could have an update!!

@@Five-so5jv hes not a lousey father if his daughter loves him and didnt want to leave his side, he just keeps refending for no licence and car being stolen, isnt exactly the worst crimes
@@BobAlong-l5y WOW, your comment, I could write of book on, first your illiteracy, "refending" what language is that?, he's continually being pulled over for driving with no license and in a stolen car, with a child, and you say "isn't exactly the worst crimes" well committing ANY crime of any sort and involving children makes you a lousy parent, a good dad would do the right thing and get his license back and stop REOFFENDING.
kinda crazy how all those people did nothing to help really, and that guy got him uinder control in a few minutes. cool to see that knowing the right things to say is important
7:12 Beautiful Owl in chimney reversed: I *literally* just rescued my cat from a tree. Tall ladder, two spotters and a firm grip. She'd been up there about 6 hours after being treed by a dog. She's home gulping her dinner with happy cuddles!
Watching old episodes of COPS is so bittersweet. These were some of the best years of policing our country had ever seen. They were also some of the worst years of policing our country had ever seen. At least we can get a glimpse into the better parts of it here.
Agreed. It's sad seeing people go to jail for $10 worth of pot who are in pain. (Other episode's I've seen it with veterans, I'm glad to see some of those changes.) Also seeing the kindness of the officers with Sally and the first guy clearly in a mental health crisis. I want to see a balance between over policing for minor things and not playing catch and release with violent felons. Most cities unless someone is dead or critical, the sh00ter will be out on bail in days or less. Open hard substance use is the norm in the same cities. Indy journalists get chased off trying to cover it way faster than the encampments of dozens or more people.
This is probably THEEE BEST COPS video I ever seen!! SALLY: If your watching your the bravest smartest prettiest little girl I’ve ever seen and you & your Dad are lucky to have eachother. Yous made this episode so very sweet & your Momma is so very proud of you and is your angel watching over you🫶🏽🫶🏽‼️❤️ Awww. We also nursed a baby owl to back to health when he flew into our window and he flew off as good as new after we fed him a bunch of rabbit meat, etc
i havent watch the vid yet; i cant wait to see what that was about lol. ha, i found it. mardi gras lol. i'm a yankee but i got to visit a friend in louisiana during mardi gras. i do not drink; i did not go to the french quarter at all. i went to what lubby called 'the kids' parade' on sunday afternoon. parents brought step ladders with little seats attached so their kids would be above the fray and better able to catch necklaces. i remember a couple of drunk women who flashed but... nah i dont do stuff like that lol. it is unreal to me that a man or woman would think dropping their pants was a bonus somehow. i have seen an ambulance show [night watch?] taped during mardi gras. people are CRAZY. yikes.
This video makes me feel old, lol. Some of the clothes and styles I remember from childhood. It's also kind of funny how strict they were with marijiuana at that time. Now there's a litany of reasons to get a card in some states and others have legalized it completely. The "The only condition i know is glaumoca and very people have it and I don'tthink he's one of them" cracked me up, lol.
Definitely agree. I remember when a $10 bag of pot was the weekend in jail. Major probation and other legal issues. Now we actually see the uses in PTSD, chronic pain and dozens of other issues. Even personal use, I see WAY less issues with someone smoking vs booze on body cam today. Alcohol brings out the darkness in some people. Kind of wild the shift from a 10 bag of pot being life changing to people openly sh00ting up in most major cities.
I can't believe this guy would do this to his child, who has already lost her mother. I hope he cleans up his act for her sake. She is telling him to be strong. Heartbreaking😢
He could have had an undiagnosed mental health disorder, that finally manifested in his 20s. Or, he could have had one diagnosed, and needed a medication readjustment, and had prior trauma from stays in mental health facilities. We don’t know his history, so you cannot judge. Please be compassionate.
Watching that little girl, Sally, cry for her daddy was heartbreaking. When he asked where her Mom was and she said “she’s dead”, I lost it. That poor little family. They’re just trying to make it.😢
WTF are you guys thinking not blanking out the faces of minors??? JAC!!! If you're going to air these, have some empathy for any children aother innocents involved.
I dont understand how DMV can suspend a license without a letter notifying the driver. That's a bunch of crap. They should be sued for not making an attempt at notifying the driver.
People lie.People also don’t change their address on their license every time they move either. His license has been suspended 7 times. I’m sure he is very aware of it…
*The 90s "Upscale Decor" of the house with the Owl was a throwback for sure....lol... *OMG a day in age when people took accountability. Sally's father looking into her eyes and telling her this is something that the officers HAVE to do would NEVER happen in today's society. Poor little Sally.... i hope that she and her father got this whole situation taken care of and she grew up to be an amazing person *i lived in Slidell LA in the early to mid 90s and as a 9/10 year old it was very eye opening around Mardi Gras time to say the least...lol
'it's not bad charges this time; just little ones.' the fact that the little girl understands the implications without further discussion is sad. and dad is under the influence [again]. did they say six license suspensions and a revocation? yeah that little girl needs a different guardian. her odds of not getting maimed in an accident would go way down.
no one should ever be in fear of 'getting the rest of their teeth busted out' because daddy came home early and everything might not be 'perfect.' my four kids and i lived with that fear for 19 yrs. then my husband did us a favor and deserted the family. he took all our liquid assets with him and left us destitute but hey, we were safer.
Sally is the very reason her father should stop messing up and to see his daughter crying as he is the only person she has left (if not other family members) should make him change from that point on.
Data entry dude going postal with a grape stick on his beer belly. He doesn't have the stregnth to impale himself. LOL Dave's not here. It's all Ronnie Raygun's fault for closing all the mental facilities.
i understand ur point. in my state a released patient randomly stabbed a little girl on the sidewalk and killed her for no apparent reason. that being said, even if the facilities were still open, there would always still be mentally ill people in the population.
@@shellydrelly the liver is highly vascularized… As is the spleen. Hitting the right upper quadrant of the abdomen with even blunt force trauma, can cause injuries incompatible with life. Need I say more?
@@SarafinaSummers all true and fascinating things, but I doubt he could induce that much force by hand with a stick anyway. Possible, but so unlikely that he would have given himself a lethal wound this way. Def the last place you wanna get stabbed tho
The situation with the guy with the stick, if that were nowadays he wouldve been tased or shot with less lethal if not lethal long ago. That was awesome police work. The shit officers do nowadays is plain sad. No doubt if that happened today that whole thing wouldve went an extremely different way.
As a rabid democrat these cops videos reassure me for the professionalism, compassion and generosity of the women and men in blue. These are among the best Americans.
"now I'm going to begin a criminal investigation for dui considering I now have enough evidence to change you with a crime, it would be to your advantage to cooperate and do a field sobriety test and prove your competent to drive" "all you had to do is cooperate and you would have walked away" 🤦♂️
Yeah refusing the test was provably the best move. I honestly don’t know how much it would’ve helped them anyway since any results could be written off as him being fucked up from the crash. Him admitting that he was drunk made it all irrelevant anyway though lol
i love that u think that was a LONG time ago lol. i remember when there was a revival of the Beatles band and 'hippie' clothing. my daughter was all excited; look mom!!! i said, hunny i was there the first time around lol.
Bro love seeing you're gym professionals my guy. Only thing I gotta say tho. When doin that lift, make sure you're shoulders are incline with the lift motion. Make sure you're in the middle, if that makes sense
I wonder how old this video and Sally are? What a beautiful child and she is stronger than any adult I know. May she be as wise now as she was in this moment. Daddy could learn so much from such an innocent sweet soul. By the way I'm not crying you are 😭😭, lol!

If he's on meds for a broken back, he will freak. If it's just pot he shouldn't be freaking out like that.
Lying to the police is stupid, so. SHUT UP! You have the right to remain silent, USE IT! Ignore all their threats. All they ask you is to get you to confess and tell on yourself. If you've been drinking don't drive. You can't get away with what we did before cams. YOUR FAULT iphone generation. lol
