In Sri Lanka, We established many independent commission such as Election and Police, are they function as independent commissions? What we need a honest political culture from the top to bottom. Most of Sri Lankans are worried about their daily life.

You do not need to recognise the people who pay tax. Make everyone from the top to down pay tax. That’s how countries like Australia do. But if certain people are not in the tact bracket you can except them. Have a tax bracket and get a tax file number to everyone over 18 years and make them pay tax. Specially have stringent penalties for people who avoid taxes. Mangala lovely to hear from you for some important changes. Hopefully these will come into effect

Can we go away from the emotional part and focus on what to do where we need to improve? 1. Uphold the rule of law, 2. Treat every citizen equally, 3. Have a consistent policy framework for 10 years focusing on energy, food, health, water and shelter (basic needs of human) in economy, governance and rule of law.
