Hi Tami! Oh, the 1st time I see something LOVELY out of the gray shade; the mat combines beautifully. You may not be an actress, but you ARE a good teacher! Love the envelope too, thanks. I got a tip for your customers who just cannot afford it all: In the new photopolymere stampsets, the stamp pictures are printed on the box. I remove the thick bottom sheet and put the stamps directly into the boxes, covering them with the thin sheet and remove the thick sheet: ideal for such window cards (or shakers). So far, our winter's been rediculously mild.
I recently "found" your You Tube channel. I LOVE your twisted fun fold cards and more than that, it's delightful to watch you create the card. You explain steps so clearly. I can't wait to go and watch your other videos. I hate the "A-#" list of envelopes you're supposed to use to mail your cards that you've made to the envelope dimensions like a good little dooby. No, I make envelopes for each card or use a nice padded envelope. Love, love that pink banner!
I'm so glad you found my channel, Cheryl! You can also check out more videos on my blog at www.stampwithtami.com and look at the video gallery. I'm so happy you make your own envelopes.
All of the cards are beautiful.. had to pick a favorite. Silver/Pink and Black/Red are top picks. I wonder should an insert be placed on front of the card inside the envelope to protect it when mailing.
Thanks for a fun card. The first two blog posts are linked to this video (although this video is called part 3. Is that correct? In the first card, you had a black heart -- I am guessing that was cut out of a piece of the glimmer paper before cutting from corner to corner.
Thanks for writing! I am thrilled you enjoy the cards. The first two posts were labeled part 1 and part 2 and the video is part 3 in the series. Were you able to watch the video? I shared the entire 4 part twisted gatefold on the video. Part 3 is the card I made for the example in the video, they are all made the same. Each part in the series has it's own supply list and blog post but they are all made the same. I also shared how to custom make the envelopes. Part 4 posted on my blog this morning. Enjoy the fold! tami
Hi Ray, that is a Silicone Craft Sheet. It's a staple on my crafting table. Here's a link: www.stampinup.com/products/craft-sheet-silicone?dbwsdemoid=73215
