Not sure if it’s already been said, but i think the florals in the bee set makes sense, because clover honey and orange blossom honey are among the most popular types of honey (at least here in US…) but i do agree they could have worked the overall color palette better if they wanted to include those elements.
In general I'm not a huge fan of bees, but in one of my favorite books, The Starless Sea, there's a lot of repeated symbolism with bees, keys, and doors, so I am really tempted to get some items from that collection. The notebook especially really matches its vibe.
The washi tape sets appear to have at least one tape to go with their new signature notebook with the embroidered cover. The fruit in particular would go with, as the flowers used are the same as on the book cover. It's a shame they didn't create a separate set for that. I love love love the covers this spring - they are all beautiful.
like you, I absolutely fell in love with the bee notebook and got two A5 sizes so I could use them back to back in the same year, and then the square typewriter :) I haven't tried the square notebook and I'm excited for it!
I am eyeing the botanist emblem in A5 & the Keeper of Bees in A5, B5 or 8x8 (whatever i can get 😂) as well as the keeper of bees & everyday bookstack stamp sets. Im on the fence about the vintage typewriter stamps & botanist washi set. I would like the calliographs if i had room in my existing storage space.
I was just telling a friends that A and O are launching on Friday, but I won't buy anything because I don't need anything, then I saw the reveal and may have to take back my words!

The Flower and Books is my favorite design aside from the Sold Out Heirloom green embroidered one, but I agree with you…what’s holding me back from jumping on it is the beige color…if it had more of a rose or pink undertone then I totally would’ve bought it. But it’s like a masculine beige with a feminine design…completely clashes in my opinion.
I wonder if the Keeper of the Bees is a reference to the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. Or at least that is what I think about when I see that cover.
My shopping list includes the Botanist in B5, the Books & Flowers in A5, the SPRING HEIRLOOM if it's available, the Journal Cover in A5, and maybe one or two of the stamp collections. Then after I put everything in the cart, I'll see the price and be like, "No, you can only get two things, Sabrina." 💸😂
I think A&O does a fantastic job at making their collections very cohesive, which makes me so drawn to the collection all together. But since I’m in my ‘use what I have’ era (AND the sub box comes out in a week), I really look at each item individually and realize I just don’t need it/ wouldn’t use it. But seriously, SO pretty

I like the Keeper of Bees 8x8 too because of the keys. Don't buy mine! 🤣But with the March sub box on the way I am not sure if I will get anything from this release. I agree about the amount of stickers they give. I am using the Kit club and they give you only 2 sheets and I have to scan them in to print extras because there is never enough to have my weeklies match. And so much green! I was picking the palette for March and am using the same green tombow I did in Jan and Feb! Get a nap so you can get up at the crack of dawn for the launch!
Beige...parchment...vanilla ice cream....meh Dig the typewriter in black, however. BUT the bee one. OMG...breathless, tiny tear forming. Full on pining for that one!
If I snag the book stamp set I can send your the star stamp because I know that’s the one on that sheet that I wouldn’t use… But let’s see if I get on line in time, unless the bag and the bee note book is still available when I get there I’m not ordering anything… Needs to be a few items to make it worth the shipping cost…. As a regular stamperI have to say I wish I could get the stamp set without the ink and block, and also if you buy 3 stamp sets, you’ll have 3 ink pads and 3 acrylic blocks…. Seems a bit of a waste to me. But I love the stamp designs! I was really sad in the autumn release that I was too late to get the book stamp set at that time.
I may hold off on a notebook (I've got the quarterly sub box coming, plus a stash in the desk) but the washi, pens, stamps, and stickers are CALLING ME (and I usually only get one washi set per release but might need a couple of them, eep!) Also the bookmarks, bc as a massive reader I am a sucker for bookmarks, lol. Skipping the journal cover - I have the one from the winter sub box which has the same interior design and while it is pretty, trying to stuff a journal with a pen loop into that back pocket is REALLY tight and the suede inside material kind of wrecks the corners on the pages as the journals moves, so pass on that. The bag is a bit twee for my taste, so not for me.
I just watched the replay, I already made my shopping list but I wanted to see what yours would be. Here is mine: Keeper of the Bee (8x8) Stack of Books (B5) Typewriter (B6), Calligraphs AND Acrylographs, 3 sets of stamps (Vintage Typewriter, Everyday Bookish, Everyday Celestial). No washi for my I have enough, saying this while waiting on an order from the washi tape shop lol. Stickers are not my vibe. Don't need a bookbag or temp tattoos. I knew we would both want the bee in 8x8 lol, fingers crossed that most of the others go for a different size :)
I'm so with you Jess about that gorgeous bee notebook, and those keys are just beautiful. 😍I'm debating whether to get it in the square, or A5, and I think the celestial stamps, and possibly the bee ones might end up in the basket as well. The cost of shipping to the UK is too high for more than that, but it looks like A&O have started shipping to at least 1 UK stockist again which I'm so happy about. If I'm lucky I might be able to pick up another notebook or 3 from there!
I did reply to this comment last night on my phone, but RU-vid seems to have vanished it! The UK stockist for A&O is Under the Rowan Trees. If you go to "Shop by brand" and select "Archer & Olive" you will see that both the recent Everyday Collections with the Wonderstruck and Storybook journals are showing, although not available until May 24. Then the Cabinet of Curiosities is a "collection" on there, it's just there are no products listed under that right now. Not sure if they'll be available for the launch, or if they might appear a few days after, but it's a good sign and would mean we can spend less on shipping, and more on actual products!! Plus they'll probably arrive with us a lot faster too. Happy Days! 🥰

The books and flowers shouldn’t be beige it’s boring and I can’t really see the design because the gold is so close in color. I’m not big on the giant emblem on the botanist. Omg more beige, why? The black typewriter looks weird, but I can see this one unlike the first one. I’m allergic to bees so keeper of bees is a big no. The square one is very pretty but looks like Christmas to me not spring. I love all the pens they’re going in the cart. Bookish wash tape is going in the cart. I have an entire collection of bookshelf wash from all sorts of places, but mostly simply gilded. If I see a pretty bookshelf odds are I’m buying it. I like the drying herbs botanist washi. If I can find someone who wants the others I might get that too. I’m in love with the typewriter washi set that’s amazing and going in the cart. The bee washi set is a hard no. Ditto everything I just said for the sticker sheets. I do wish they’d stop giving us 2 identical sheets though. The cover design is pretty but the grey… meh. Oh I need that bag lol the price isn’t great but it’s in line with prior bag type items. OMG all the stamps…except the bees! I’ve purchased stamp sets for one or two stamps before so don’t worry about it. Share them with Monica. I was happy to see in the self care box they included a block and now they’ve upgraded the stamp pads. Temporary tattoos? No thanks. I love magnetic bookmarks. Do you want the bee one? And some of us just bought the self care box (for the stamps but that’s not relevant lol) I’m definitely getting stamps, washi, both sets of pens, the magnetic bookmarks, and if I can swing it I’ll get the bag and/or stickers. I like the bag a lot but it is pricy so we’ll see. (Nothing with bees obviously)
