Having missed the first few minutes of Virtual Church last night and catching only the final bars of Thalben-Ball’s Elegy, I’ve just found some time to re-listen to the whole performance of one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) organ pieces ever. I never fail to be moved by it and Richard’s performance was as impressive as ever! It’s always better “live” - as we expect every Sunday evening, but it was a perfect antidote to a rainy Monday!! As always , thanks are due to Richard and Beauty in Sound for some of the best spent hours of each week!
