I didn't mean to but I laughed so hard when you hit your head with the moobong during shutdown. I totally felt that. The song gets me so flustered everytime I listen to it I need to chew ice to cooldown. This is why 6equence is my favorite album this year. Moonbyul went over and beyond, every song is a no skip! And the album is a movie sequence with different scenes from the high of falling in love (G999 and Shutdown (and yes shutdown is a wlw song ❤️) ) to coping after the breakup (ddu Ddu Ddu and For Me). Lunatic is the in between song when u know you should let go but still want to work things out and synopsis is the summary of the film. She picked the perfect people to collab with her too (Seori (shutdown) and Mirani (G999)). In her mini online concert (6equence: Director's Cut) she flipped the script and instead of starting in love and ending with a sad song she started the show at the breakup point and ended in love (shutdown) and living for herself (selfish). I'm serious her brain has way too many wrinkles. She's a beautiful genius!

Really enjoyed your video reaction! I resonated with many of your meltdowns because I had the very same reactions to them. Hope you will check out more of their solo work to get them know them more as soloists! Also, aside from Wheein's Vlog, all the other members have their own RU-vid channels as well. You probably already know about Solarsido, but Moon Byul also launched her RU-vid channel (문별이다 moonbyul2da) at the end of last year and they're all very entertaining, especially her camping vlogs. Solar will be on moonbyul2da on March 22 so you may want to check it out since you seem to love them both so much. If you've watched any of their Yongkong Byulkong videos before or have just seen them dynamics before, then you know you're in for a time of hilarious bickering. If you haven't seen their dynamics before, then you're in for a real treat!

Just adding onto something you mentioned: Moonbyul auditioned and was accepted as a vocalist. But around 6 months-ish before debut, she was told that she needed to be their rapper. She actually had ZERO rap knowledge before then. I'm really proud of her for getting where she is now (considered a top rapper of 3rd gen female idols), but that change actually MAJORLY knocked down her confidence in singing. Thankfully, she's been regaining it, and I'm sure it shows now. :) You mentioned that you like R&B, so I actually think musically, you'll like Wheein and Moonbyul's music the most. Moonbyul actually has a lot of R&B influences in her music. Personally? I think you need to go on a Moonbyul marathon 🤣 (I'm half-joking. She really does have a lot of R&B though.) A couple recommendations: - For Me: Medium tempo R&B song, also from the 6equence album. It's about the regret after a breakup, longing to see the person come back but realizing that they really won't this time. Her vocals in this are really nice. The liveclip on RBW's channel is subbed, and the guitarist in the video is actually her labelmate Kanghyun from Onewe. (If you dig alt rock, you might be into their music too. Side note, their main vocalist Yonghoon has a voice that's to die for. It's so full of emotion.) - Absence: My FAVORITE song from Moonbyul. It's been described as pop R&B ballad. Did you ever watch the kdrama "World of the Married"? She wrote this song with that drama in mind. It's actually from the perspective of the mistress in the drama, which is pretty unique. Subbed performance MV is on RBW channel. - Eclipse: Not sure if you've heard this, but it's a heavier dance/EDM track that people likened to a boy group track. Moonbyul's goal with this release was to show that music isn't divided by gender, and that women can do that kind of sound too. - Mirror: B-side, no MV. Moonbyul and angst often go hand in hand. She wrote this song a long time ago but finally released it on her album in 2020. And since you're a Solar bias: - Adrenaline: OST track she sang for the drama "Vicenzo." It literally sounds like a James Bond type of song, and her vocals will BLOW YOU AWAY. She has a video of it on her youtube channel. :) - Promise U: Much more upbeat, but she and Moonbyul surprised us with this remake track a while back. (Since you seemed to lose it over both of them in this stream lol.) It's actually a really sad track, but the music makes it sound upbeat. 😂 The original was by VIBE, and they recruited Moonbyul and Solar to sing the remake for their 20th anniversary. - Bada Boom: You said you liked Street Woman Fighter. Did you ever check out the spinoff Street Dance Girls Fighter? It has younger crews with members of SWF as their mentors. Anyway, Moonbyul and Solar once again got invited to sing one of the songs that 2 of the crews had to perform in the finals. This one goes a lot harder, and it was really cool to hear them go for this kind of sound since it's otherwise uncommon with Mamamoo's releases.

This is the first reaction video I've seen of yours, but color me intrigued. This was so much fun, and I love the way you appreciate their art holistically. And because Solar is my ultimate bias, I cheered out loud when you talked about the way she plays with her voice. Can't believe i missed the live just 8 hours ago, but its okay i just spent a good 2 hours watching your live and OMG i enjoyed it so much, such an wholesome reactions to all mamamoo solos stuff. love the catching up session, really feels like we're fangirling on their talents together. I can't help but to say that this is one of the few reactions video that i really love and becoming my favourite about the girls, especially moonbyul. Your reactions to moonbyuls solo stuff is just wholesome! It feels really good to see someone appreciating her vocals and talented artist she is. (and yes i cry a river for her ddu ddu ddu song too so your not alone, i think). Briefly i definitely recommend you to checkout whole 6sequence album tracklist, all 6 of them has mv except for lunatic eng ver. Accordingly because thats the whole purpose of the album, to tell a story make you feel like watching a movie. (its about stages of relationships from the meeting, the intimacy till the breakup, sad ik) Its a well thought album and i love it because shes working hard for this album; writing and composing most of the tracklist except for 'lunatic and synopsis', but its a well known facts that rbvv is such a bitch fr treating her comeback with the bare minimum. Thats all i hope to find more of your live/videos like this for mamamoo in the future, and checkout more songs from WHEE, GUILTY PLEASURE AND FACE, too cos these woman never made a bad song. Dead -solar's cover of Fire from bts both made me enjoy fire more but I like her version a lot -you and Sylvia can enjoy the Mamamoo x Seventeen stages/covers give me LIFE (decalcomanie, egotistic, Nice, adore u, clap x you're the best) -moonbyul and wheeins solo albums since you enjoy rnb and smooth sounds. (I love wheeins live clips more than the OG songs tbh) -pokemon cover -gen 1 and 2 kpop mash up cover (sorry, abracadabra, rollipoli etc) -definitely watch the F/w Paint me, no more drama, wildflower performances! If you love RNB Pop then you should really check out more Seori. It's her sound. She is Billie Elish of Korea. She used to be very underrated but thankfully she is getting lots of attention since last year. And also Jungkook is huge fan of Seori. Lots of songs from her debut album are in Jungkook's playlist. And if you have watched BTS in the Soop season 1 Jungkook was singing and humming to Seori's "Running Through the Night" all the time.

If you want to get to know the four Ladys a little bit better I recommend the following: Purple Hawkes Guide to Mamamoo. Two parts that give a good "short" introduction to them Their Tipsy Lives. I think there are 3 or 4 of this, and if you know how good Solar and Hwasa are with alcohol... you know what to expect. MMMTV That's is mostly backstage footage from their MV and concerts, but much of it is just them playing around. And watching gives you the background for some of their songs like sleep in the car MoomooTrip - Just them having fun I don't have the title, but their trip to Hwasas Grandmas home (Were everyone drinks alcohol, but Solar gets juice) And last but not least their fan meetings. If you have a reeeeally bad day search for the meeting were they waer school uniform and diss themself. It's a blast
