No one had a better shag haircut than David Cassidy. He was probably one of the reasons that the shag was so popular in the 70's.

Hes adorable, probably one of the best looking men alive at the time, hard to take your eyes off him and his whole persona is just so attractive

David is probably the only man I'd ever describe as BEAUTIFUL, I could listen to that voice all day

makes me sad to watch this now. I was a screaming teenage DC fan and still am (though not screaming!). This reveals a lot of his vulnerability which we didnt see back in the day. He was misrepresented and mismanaged. He never got over the loss of his Dad. I think he got lost somewhere along the way and that is really sad. Great talent, gorgeous man but, moreover, lovely lovely human being. God Bless you Mr David Cassidy and thanks for all the joy youve brought into my life.... and now (sadly) the memories you left. The British loved David Cassidy like he was their own son. He knew it too; notice how he sometimes uses their accent. But who didn't love him. Full of charisma, charm, talent and intelligence. He seemed light years ahead of the rest of us; acquiring so much so early in life. And although he was exploited like many artist; he managed to maintain a prosperous life throughout. Although the end was rough for him; divorce and drinking. I just want to remember him like this; young and fabulously beautiful! RIP Sweet David. 💖🌹💖

This interview is bittersweet. He never got to retire and live comfortably on an island. His last days were filled with physical, mental, and emotional pain. My heart breaks when I see his final interviews and performances. So broken. He even had to perform once in a cast.🥺😥 This song personifies his life.

I adored him and still do, I have to moderate my intake because he has a profound affect no matter what state he’s in or his age. A truly complex being, a little bit of a lad and a lot of saint that I’ve rarely seen too!

Thank you for this video! I believe it is one of his best interviews to bring his case to light. Well done! I'm learning more poignant interesting facts about this brilliant musician now that he's passed on, which is so sad. I've been David's fan since the beginning and there a huge gaps in between the years since he bowed out for awhile. Such an interesting artist and very well grounded. Looking back, he maintained that same direction and philosophy throughout his life. He was true to his nature and his goals as an artist which says a lot about him--that he was genuine, not flighty at all. I believe it took great courage to remove himself and regain his true identity and passion as an artist. I guess that is why he remained successful, and he did that his own way. He said many times it was never about the money. In fact, He was very against exploitation from early on in his career and showed as a good role model for upcoming artists. A true fan would appreciate that and allow David to grow and to reveal his true persona--and my goodness, wasn't it worth it? To me it sure was. Such a beautiful human being that I'm missing the loss of, passing at such an early age. His legacy lives on in his fans. I hope he'll be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I really do believe he's earned it. Such a brilliant musician. Rest in peace sweet David. 💙❤🎶

I never met him and just really became interested in him since his death. After reading his books, buying CDs, listening to every interview that I can find on RU-vid and spending hours viewing, thousands of his pictures on Pinterest, I am completely infatuated. He's absolutely mesmerizing. David "I know I Love you".

He was a good looking young man in his day no doubt about it and he lived life to the fullest I hope that he found the Lord rip.

Such a great interview, one of the best I've seen with DC, honest and sincere. The interviewer is great and a real pro, trying to dig a bit deeper than most and he sets the tone with both depth and humour. I am also impressed by the maturity DC shows, he's only 26 here, but yet he seems to answer in a thoughful way and is very well articulated. Its such a loss he's now gone.

He was an incredible person. I first met David in Las Vegas. We had mutual friends. It was 23 years ago at the MGM. So talented. So versatile. A true tragedy. We both talked about not worrying our life away. Great human. 👍

I know this is a long time ago and David Cassidy has passed away but what is it about British media, where they don't seem to be satisfied with the subject's answer. I don't know how many times Harty went over the same question, after it was answered more than satisfactorily the first time. He got his answer! What was it about the answer didn't he understand. They do the same to other celebs still today. As a journalist, you ask the question in the way that the person is more likely to answer it, instead of asking the same question over and over again to badger them. David Cassidy was my teenage crush too. As others have mentioned here. He was a phenomenon that has never been seen since and I doubt will ever be seen again. A sad end for a great, talented man. RIP David.

I was only 2 years old when The Partridge Family debuted in September of 1970, so naturally, I missed out on Cassidymania. But I became a fan later in 1974 after the show was cancelled, and reruns we're being shown on weekday afternoons. Better late than never, right? I was 6 years old and in the first grade when I saw The Partridge Family for the first time, and I thought David Cassidy was really cute! In fact, he was the first cute boy I ever saw on TV. If I had been a teenage girl in the 70's, instead of a little girl, I know I would've seen David in concert in the early 70's and would've had David Cassidy posters on my bedroom wall. The first time I saw David in person was in 1996. It was his EFX show in Las Vegas. I saw him in concert twice, first in 2003, then in 2007. The first time I saw him in concert, he looked right at me and took hold of my hand while singing "No Bridge I Wouldn't Cross!" I'll never forget that special moment! My one regret, is that I never got to meet him. You don't have to be a Baby Boomer to love David Cassidy. We Generation Xers love him too! I love this interview. David seemed genuinely sweet and down-to-Earth. He was intelligent, had a great sense of humor, and I love his smile and laugh! And his voice was like velvet! David Cassidy had one of those voices you immediately recognize, whether he was talking or singing. He was one of a kind.

David was my 1st concert and 1st Love. The girls were screaming so loud & I just wanted to hear him sing sing 🎶 sing. His music kept my spirit up during a harsh childhood. A wonderful talented, beautiful, & magnetic Man. RIP Sweet One. Much Love to all David touched💜💯💣
