At 1 hour 55 minutes Sri. T. M. Krishna starts singing the Kamas jaavali. Please, please listen to this. I have never heard anyone sing this as beautifully as this 🙏🏻🙏🏻. - the short aalaapanai, the emotion, the pleading, the cry, the body language & gestures, the Kaala pramaanam, expressions of longing, the repetitions.... all of it creating such a magic and conveying the true meaning of jaavali... Bringing tears to the eyes of the listener as well as the artist ....🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻...... Every single day, i listen to this piece at least 10 times......

TMS fan shielashekar ( I am one, too ) , Just listened to K Jaavali, as you have rightly expressed your appreciation ,TMS has encompassed all the aspects of the Raga Kamaas into this Great Krithi of Muthuswamy Dikshltar ..What a tribute to the creator ! Upon listening to this krithi with all the aalapanai,the emotion,the pleading,the cry,the body language,gestures, kaala pramaanam, expressions of longing…. I felt it was a little short, concluded suddenly. Have you listened to TMS’ s Soundararajam in Brindavana saaranga? ….lord Krishna will come running to meet us ,or we go to Brindavan ! That is T M K ‘ s captivating music! He drinks , swallows,eats,chews the raga in depth & brings out the Krithi in the most mesmerizing fashion! And his Chiranmayi …Aanandabhairavi RTP……

T. M. Krishna : An extraordinary genius..indisputable despite innumerable negative comments. One Mr.Yash Prabhu wrote in one of his comments column that one can just see ‘ a cloud ‘ while flying very high & nothing else ..& that is TM K ‘ s involvement , immersion …only his music ! ! No adequate words to appreciate his unique style of singing / renditions ! While elaborating a particular raga in various forms , it flows into his system replacing the blood which he brings it out of his system in another form of blood / music ..in a totally enjoyable form.

How any one can sing "sri ram chandra kripalu bhaja man" in this way - which is not a carnatic song (really he could having sung anything else) - and then alleged to have no bhakti is beyond me - what a beautiful interpretation of this bhajan - it is no wonder he is receiving sangita kalanidhi -

Artists fail to realize they come and go , it’s selfish they keep them away from listeners, after all there is no copyrights to the song they sing , they are being overprotective and not wanting to share these kshetra performances, amazed at the TM Krishna mastery and giving his best to the public, so immersed he is like the traditional doyens , he is class

Although he may be a well known singer, the man comes across as somewhat arrogant and imperious. The singer, violinist and ghatam player shared a good laugh over the introduction made by the announcer, who appeared to struggle with some names, including the Ramon Magsaysay award. What a pathetic trio of musicians. These guys couldn't hold a candle to the really great singers and musicians. Truly talented musicians are humble and gracious. This 'performance' pales in comparison with many others I have heard and watched.
