Your static may be caused by some dirt or contamination of the battery terminals if you are using a battery-powered condenser mic. Try wiping them down with alcohol. The static is intermittent, so it is hard to trace. Good luck.

Btw I never hear the static…might be on their end. They may have their sound up too high and it’s cutting them off as safety

Bryan V and me are in contact. If your in Clearwater why don't you two do that Phillipe Park? Nice old trees there? USA is 100 years older than Canada. Should be able to locate some older coins there. 113 beaches and 97 city Parks in the Clearwater area plus NO snow. Lucky bugger in my books!! @treasure outdoors I just got a legend, if I'm in m1, m2, m3, my legend constantly makes little noise while swinging. I noise cancel, I ground balance, I'm so use to my cheap coinmaster that is quiet until I find a target. Is the legend supposed to be noisy? I mean I can still pick out the targets, but it's always making a little noise while swinging

Sometimes it's because of the area, multi frequency uses multiple single frequencies at the same time so it seems more prone to interference. If everything you do doesn't quiet it down.. best to go with a single frequency.
