Bill Holter is by far my favorite financial analyst/commentator on social media. He’s always well informed and presents his knowledge in an logical, honest way. He doesn’t sugar coat stuff to tell you what you want to hear. Right now, we all better do our best to get prepared. Many of us won’t have the luxury of packing up the SUV or van to hit the road to find a place away from populated areas. Again, it will come down to where do you go? I’m in the suburbs close enough to Denver to be considered ground zero. Even if they don’t target Denver, I’m still at risk due to being in proximity to military bases and DIA. So, life as we know it either if we are at war or when the monetary system collapses, things won’t be good. All we can do is do the best we can, get right with the Lord, and hope and pray for the best.

Yesterday I was in a pawn shop and one of the customers there was going on and on about how the governments money is backed by gold. I instantly felt completely hopeless about our countries total ignorance. For me, it is not the politicians any longer. Crooks and traitors will be crooks and traitors. It is the people's fault at this point because the warning signs are everywhere and completely ignored. Not only ignored but if you try to point them out, you get labelled crazy. Problem is the people who truly do know the truth or want to learn are very outnumbered by the thousands and will be taken down also by the normies. Unfortunately, the normies won't get it till the boot is on their necks and it is to late.

Totally agree constitutional silver is the best, but a silver eagle is no better than 1 ounce round or bar in a SHTF scenario. 99% of the people don’t own silver and have no idea if a silver eagle is any more authentic than a Buffalo round or a Liberty bar. Only those that have taken the time to purchase and understand silver will know the difference.

Great point. 95% of Americans & probably 99% of non-Americans have seen an American silver eagle. However, 100% of Americans and many non Americans have seen a Roosevelt Dime which has looked the same since 1946. As long as people know those dimes are 90% silver if they are 1964 or older. I think Roosevelt dimes will hold the highest premium in a SHTF situation. Fractional, recognizable

I agree, people will figure it out. How did they figure it out before our constitutional coins were made? I have read they figured it out in Venezuela when they collapsed in recent years. One ounce of silver was enough to buy a month of food for a family of 4. They looked at ways to have different sizes for different things a person may need. Diversify and get sovereign and bullion. Who knows really how things could go so the name of the game is to be able to adapt in many different scenarios. I have also heard a very compelling argument that sovereign would not be best because the coins have USA stamped on them indicating property of the USA government. Can't argue that this isn't a very real possibility. With these pychos in charge, I wouldn't put anything past them. They will be desperate to try anything to keep power.

That is very true. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to an uh oh moment, either while trying to login to your bank account or you see a bail-in already has occurred. That, obviously would not be good! I don’t think it will happen now. Maybe as more banks are failing. Perhaps it will happen as an October surprise to wreak havoc prior to the elections. A true blackk swann moment. Our inept leaders are trying to draw Russia into war via numerous events by making them angry enough to take the first outward aggressive action. This way they can be blamed for it. I hope it doesn’t happen, but I’m sure that they’ll keep on poking the bear.

I finished reading a book by Mr. Freeman, “Pirate Money.” It described the constitutional creation of individual states forming a local currency backed by gold similar to what is developing in Texas. It would be a bridge from fiat currency to the next national monetary system, operating by debit card backed by an individuals gold deposits in a states’ depository, people would retain ownership of the gold, it would remain liquid. Over twenty states have legislation in progress. I would like to hear more discussions on this!

This is a good possibility after a rebuild starts only IMO. The problem is doing it now, it would still have 3rd party risk. With the amount of corruption out there because of the fiat system being able to buy people to easily, it would be high risk. Something like this won't work till the fiat is totally gone. For right now "if you don't hold it, you don't own it" is the best rule to follow.

18:28 to add to Bill’s response… most investors do not realize that some shares are sold and then bought without what I would call establishment of a “clear title.” There are hypothecation, rehypothecation and share fabrication to name a few encumbrances. Also, specifically to the miners, when a nation is in conflict, it is easy for “low hanging fruits” like mines and huge PM repositories (vaults, ETFs, etc.) to be confiscated by governments. Consider these risks when considering paper/digital assets and when parking your assets with third parties.

If you have done anything at all, you are way more prepared than probably 95% or more of people out there. I dont think anyone can "adequately prepare". If you don't have extra food for at least a month, preferably a year, concentrate on that first. With food, concentrate on rice and beans, then add to supplement for a well rounded diet. I say beans and rice because beans are protein and rice is carbs. Not a full nutritiinal diet, but both necessary for keeping your mind and body coherently functional. Plus they are both pretty cheap right now and is probably easiest to get you at least a starting foundation to build on fast.

States are making law that any type of silver round, bar or coin is money. I like Bill, but I think he is being misleading about junk silver. Gold is the way to go anyway. I bought 100 oz silver in 1980 at 26. Sold it at 24 and it promptly went to 16. 45 yrs and gone nada. Gold is better. Even half oz or 10th. Easy to store or hide.

What was it when in the 80's gold went to 800+ dollars? About that. Silver is the most undervalued asset right now. Great interview with the great Bill Holter, whose advice is invaluable about silver and gold. Perhaps it's the contrarian in me, but I don't foresee a long term Mad Max scenario. I think people will readjust fairly quickly to a new, much fairer economic reality. The problem is fiat money. When fiat disappears, you've solved at least half the problem. It's not exactly comparable, but I and my family lived in a several story apartment at the epicenter of the Northridge quake. We were only prepared to the extent that our cabinets were secured, but not much extra food or water. All windows were broken, hot water heaters flooded the lower levels, there was no electricity, and nobody had cell phones because they hadn't been invented yet. All this was accompanied by endless aftershocks. This situation lasted for several weeks. But It was amazing. We all pooled our resources, cooked over Sterno together, barbecued, ate together, took turns standing in line at the grocery store, etc. Even people you wouldn't have expected it of turned out to be very resourceful. I wonder if the corner drug dealers in big cities won't start dealing cans of corn and Spam, and do very well.

I used to hold stocks in DRS form as well as holding certificates. For starters is almost impossible to be issued a certificate these days. Bottom line is, I dont think its safe in DRS either because if brokerage firms fail, so will transfer agents. I recently moved back to a traditional brokerage account. Its been a real eye opener just to get all accounts moved out of certificate or DRS form. Im not kidding its a stinking nightmare. Probably a two month ordeal. Im still trying to figure out a "safe haven" for stock accounts. Dont think there really is one for the little guy.

It is best to not compare metals to fiat. Compare it to something real like a one ounce of gold can buy a nice suit in 1935, 1970, 2000, and now. A pre 1964 quarter could buy a gallon of gas in 1964 and it still can today. We have all been conditioned to believe fiat is real and it isn't. Think of US dollar being equivalent to monopoly money. It is only valuable when playing the game. Try to use it in the real world, no one will want it. The world is opting out of this game our government has been playing and they don't want our paper trash in exchange for real things like oil, medicines, everything in the department stores, cars, etc. Our bullying days are starting to get rejected.

Try running your guest audio through a compressor and some EQ so you can stop having junky audio sound on your Channel it's hard for you to control audio it's coming from your guests but you can fix it if you take the hint that I gave you

For all those non believers of real money, just explain paying the $200 trillion in federal debt, unfunded liabilities of Medicare, Medicare, social security, and the military industrial complex. Oh, and I left out the interest on the $35 trillion debt, which is growing insanely fast and exceeded only by social security. By the way, to put it in perspective, 1 trillion SECONDS is 31,688 years!

Never studied economics, however, I understand that if you eat more than you exercise your density becomes your reality. As for spending money...if your output exceeds your income, then your upkeep becomes your downfall. The U.S. is toast in both categories.

During an economic collapse gold and silver will go down in value it wont maintain its value. The reason ? People and states will sell gold and silver to pay for their stocks. They will also sell metals to keep liquidity and have currency to pay every day expenses.
