Doc these companies can throw all the money they want at this issue. It's like eating ice cream in death valley🤣. Personally I wouldn't get anything off Google play. I remember you said they were coming after cinemahd. Mine still works fine along with all my other 50 apps on my firestick. They are going to have to eventually settle for apps with commercials since anyone still on regular cable record everything and just bypass them. I think thats why these free streaming apps are successful, now you just go get a snack when the commercials come on. That's just my 2 cents worth but ......eh! What do I know.😉

I believe these sites and apps are here to stay, they can't take them all down. You have torrent sites, torrent movie players. You have Kodi, and Kodi applications. You have websites, you have different web browsers with different search engines that show different results, you have streaming apps, APKs that are put in the play store or ones that could be side loaded. I don't think no matter what they do, there would be no possible way of blocking every method and everything that is put up. Plus how easy they are to clone and how many domains some of these sites own. And most are using other places links, so then the links have to be shutdown too, so I just believe it would be impossible.

When taking down websites cos of money loss means more than taking down websites displaying child porn.

There is always going to be a battle to take down pirate streaming down I think, and new ones pop up. But are new ones going to be trustworthy!?

I have three main websites I use that have almost all the movies and shows you could think of, but one sometimes has stuff before the other, or has something that the other doesn't, and all three use different links for their stuff, so all three are a bit different. And then I have one for all the main live TV channels. And then I have one streaming app I use. So, none of the ones I use are taken down, and they are pretty well known and work great.

Everything is streamed these days and it is very easy to restream this content. The same technology which the companies are using to take in millions is also costing them millions. As you say whack a mole - arise new application.

Doc...No matter how hard the try they can NOT win that battle..They may shut down 4000....500 Web Sites ....or apps... but 800.....1100 mora are gonna appear. 'Couse the MONEY is easy and good.

It's a bit like shoplifting, they will never stop it. It is time that these so called big companies realised that some people are not willing or cannot afford to pay, so make it available with ads as well as the subscription model. The BBC in the UK is going to have similar issues in a few years time.

Tech Doc, it seems as though you have decided to ignore our request to make a video showcasing the best PAID app for football matches. Not just the premier league but all the major leagues in Europe. Any chance of us getting that video?

This has been expected for years. Regardless of any person's belief that they should be able to stream free all content on the Internet or download, piracy of content is illegal. Eventually companies will really flex their combined muscle & require ISP's to ban accounts of person's who have streamed content. The defense these accounts present is laughable & ludicrous. I personally enjoy using legal apps such as TUBI, Pluto, Ctackle & pay for other content providers such as Disney+, Prime & HBO+. This provides me with thousands of hours of content. But I realize there are tens of thousands who hold a firm belief they have acquired somehow a Right to stream the latest movies & sports. Funny is how irate they become when they discover what they believe is a Right, is in fact no Right at all & their ISP is within their contract to terminate their service indefinitely subject to fines.

If it’s going to get you in trouble personally, why take the risk? I won’t do it.
