For what ever reason, a lot of returns from purchases online end up in the dumpster... rather than them going back to the warehouse and back into their inventory..... there has to be a reason.. write offs, or too expensive to pay someone to put them back into inventory..

Fabulous haul! One of the issues I've seen on Poshmark is when buyers don't change their addresses on the platform or with the USPS, packages end up being returned to sender/seller. Maybe that's one reason they're being returned to Old Navy, and they just throw them out. So much waste.

I wonder if the packages were sent to the store with instructions to open the undelivered packages and sell the merchandise and the store manager was too incompetent to follow directions. Maybe the instructions were sent via e-mail and were never were found in all the junk mail. I am just speculating… 🤷‍♀️ Also I literally do not return anything I order online from bath & body works anymore even if it has never been opened because I know it will end up in the trash. I will sell bath & body works to Plato’s closet instead.
