I am in the US and I can't find anything that says opt out. I just clicked on a lot of stuff, and there is not opt out. I will keep looking. This may be an option in the UK but not the US. Anybody here in the US find this? If so, where did you locate the opt out option? I am tired of looking myself.

Thankyou for posting about this issue, went online on my pc and did as you advised. Funny though Facebook wouldn't show the Opt Out link until I turned off my IPVanish VPN.... :)

No doubt a joke. FB,4merly understood as lifelog. Site protection doesn't change the fact that every device is required to have a backdoor for the fcc upon approval by the fcc. To each their own, never had fb,nothing against it either just not 4 me

Hate to say it but the objection right under the GDPR let's the controller claim a legal ground to refuse, and unless it's overturned or you provide an explicit reason it impacts you specifically, this will be ignored, hence the box Edit: Seeing comments from people saying it works so hopefully they're respecting requests without further questions. Probably saves them on legal costs in the long run, but good for us

I super appreciate the information you provided. As I watched & followed your instructions on my android. I had to request "other" for them to contact me. Privacy policy continued looping back to the prior page. I asked that my information not be shared with Metas A.I. I will recheck due to having ADHD. I need the children's version on wiki;:)

Government should force these companies to make it easy to opt out. "Do you wish to opt out of our AI info gatherer " YES/NO None of this filling forms bollocking crap. And if the don't make it easy, sorry Mr Facebook you're fckin nicked me 'ol beauty. Then fine them £100 million. No ifs, no buts. Come down fcking hard on them! Is just took me 20 minutes to do this, no simple things, slow, cumbersome and intentionally difficult.

How do you do this on a cell? I don't have a functioning laptop or desktop right now. I only use my cell and tablet right now. If this makes a difference. Otherwise, our setup in the US must be different.
