On days like this, you need your big match players to score runs and convert them to big scores. Kohli (54), Rohit(47), KL Rahul(66). No body couldn't even get to 100 batting first. Indian ckt team made three grave mistakes which cost them the finals: 1. Poor shot selection 2. Opening the bowling with Shami rather than stick to the original successful plan. 3. Not playing Ashwin. Ashwin's figures : 10 overs 1 maiden 1 wkt for 34 runs when we beat aussies during the group stage. To conclude; May be, if his surname was Sharma or Kohli or Pandya or Dev..... !!! he would have been a main stay n even the captain of the Indian team. Sad! Always overlooked! 😢

Knock out matches can't be win with a defensive mindset. Amadebad had a good sporting pitch which would help both blowers as it is a bouncy wicket and batsmans as balls comes faster in comparison with many other indian wickets. But Rohit or David or whomever took the decision to play the world Cup final in a super dry sluggish wicket has shown a defensive mind set. Otherwise we are far better team than this australian team in any other given day.

Rohit gave you fantastic start 80 runs in first 10 over after that we didn't even score 6 run per over can you imagine kohli played very good but what other players do. 240 balls only 160 runs only . KL RAHUL 107 BALL ONLY 66 RUNS scored of 107 ball seriously. We lost match when Rahul was striking at 50 strike rate .

Are you serious. Virat played nice but KL. I somehow feel if we remove the innings of Rohit we would have not been able to reach even 200. Because only Virat played good in the middle and rest of the middle order failed. We were 80 for 2 after powerplay. If we would have scored run a ball we could have easily reached 320.
