APSRTC is very costly... For Volvo seater itself they charge around 1900 from Bangalore to Vijayawada... In the same price Ksrtc will provide Ambari dream class Volvo sleeper

Hey Naveen, You can try this routes. 1.Chennai to Coimbatore via Vellore- Dharmapuri-Sathy-Annur. Nothing excited in this route but very few bus options buses are available. 2. Coimbatore - Mysore/Madikeri(Coorg) via Sathy, Thimbam Hill, Hasanur,CH Nagar. 3. Ooty - Bangalore Night Service Bus (Special Permission) Service with 2 options 1.TNSTC, 2. KSRTC Airavat.

Excellent vlog Naveen. SETC is not bad for urgent journeys (mostly runs half full) and SETC crew can be a bit rude at times, also SETC is quite unhygienic. KSRTC is consistently very good and safe too.
Sir, I am from Bangalore. Our state buses are very Very supppper. Maintaining is good. Passenger needs rest and peace while traveling, but in T.N buses they make sounds horrible where we can't tolerate and lights are heavy. Is it needed just think ,people travel for good reason and the same other side, will they enjoy when they are sad. Infant I argued once,but no use. I was going for the last rites. Ksrtc always good in service with new buses covering important places from Bangalore. In ac buses they provide with blankets as in Omni buses. But in setc buses, in ac service, they are not providing blankets. I travelled last month in setc ac bus from Bangalore to Trichy and in that travel no blanket given to passengers... Bus was also not clean. They should still improve their service with necessary amenities as in ksrtc...

S karnataka rtc is provides top services in south India. In tamilnadu there is no scania, Volvo, Mercedes Benz in tnstc. Other than all other south Indian states having all types of buses in rtc. But TN government is not initiate different bus options.
In Karnataka scania and volo have their own bus manufacturing plants so it is easy for them to get the buses in some reduction price but in TN no plants which is nature wise advantage

That's why karnataka government buses are the BEST in india. No one can beat them.
I am fan of Ksrtc bus since childhood. Even sarige buses have a good speed of 80+ on average. I stay in hosur due to this reason i prefer SETC / TNSTC for night journey back to hosur. Ksrtc doesn't stop near to bus stop where we can take autos. (no need to halt inside bus stop) if they can park closer to bus stop during late night hours it would be really helpful
Fitting finale bus journey to a wonderful bus series. I traveled by Pallakki from Bengaluru to Kollur and from Horanadu to Bengaluru and was really impressed with the bus. You mentioned the ticket fare and said AC sleeper journey from Bengaluru to Chennai costs Rs750 by SETC....do they really give it at that price on a Sunday night at the last minute with just a few seats left? Also, do they provide this kind of comfort and cleanliness. I was forced to travel once in this route by SETC bus and the seats were ripped and torn with bed bugs embedded in the exposed foam that was as bad as some cheap sponge That has been my only journey in SETC sleeper bus...never felt like traveling in it again.
KSRTC should have display board in 3 languages especially in interstate bus service. However in this bus there is no display in Tamil. Understand from common man point of view who knows only their language. It becomes difficult for people who don't know the language. Of course private buses have their choice to display in English alone. But being a government owned bus the service should reach to each n every Indian else it would end up in denial of service. Hope KSRTC official will start displaying in 3 languages in INTERSTATE ROUTES
The brain behind KSRTC improvement was an IAS officer from Tamilnadu who was Aldo brain from JJTC. Unfortunately. Tamilnadu government ignored him and KSRTC capitalised him. This is open secrete. During MGR regime, he made tamilnadu transport as best in India
Correct bro, SETC and TNSTC are lagging behind when compared to neighbor states road transport services and also from 2020 Karnataka SRTC's fare are high which is now slightly equals to private bus operators. I think they are competing in terms of fare with pvt bus operators though they introduce new type of bus services. Apram, TSRTC and APSRTC services aa indha South India Bus Series la try and include pannirukalame!!
Thank you Naveen Boss for the Video.I travelled from Bangalore Shanthi nagar to Chennai in KSRTC Airavat club class on 19th Nov 2023,Sunday.Bus started at 10:52 pm sharp as scheduled .Bus was excellent and driven smoothly.First break was at Krishnagiri Saravana bhavan hotel at 1 am with free and clean restrooms for 20 mins Second break for 5 mins at wallajah at 3:35 am and bus reached Chennai CMBT at 5:15 am which is 15 minutes before scheduled reaching time.Will prefer to travel Ksrtc again
