M113 is an armored personnel carrier (APC) of the United States . It was developed in 1957-1959. It entered serial production in January 1960; production continued until 2007 [ 2 ] . For a long time, it remained the main armored personnel carrier of the United States, and was also supplied in significant quantities to other countries and used in many armed conflicts.
