Hello and welcome to the channel! If you’re new here, a big warm friendly welcome and we hope you enjoy our Videos and Live Streams. Originally from Liverpool UK, me (Andrew The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago, and enjoy showcasing the island and our general life in the Canary Islands as well as travelling abroad.

Unique bar is fab. Just opposite sunset harbour where we stayed in March and where my in laws have stayed for 20+ years. Could see our balcony/apartment on the video! Lovely memories and a great video as per ☀️☀️☀️

I stayed at the Luabay Costa adeje. in 1987 but remember it as the ESMERELDA HOTEL as it was called back then

Stayed at the Be Live La Nina with my girlfriend in early October 2023, then later in the month with my aunt at the hotel which was being refurbished in this video, formerly the Bahia Princess but renamed Princess Inspire Tenerife upon reopening. Both were exellent places to stay. My aunt tripped outside the Fanabe Plaza and needed hospitalisation, which resultedin us getting a 9-day extension to our holiday as she wasn't fit to fly wehn we were due to return home. For this extended stay we were relocated to the GF Isabel. Being insured meant that medical bills were taken care of, as was the cost of repatriation and extra nights accomodation. Upon return home we received forms to reclaim out of pocket expenses, and the email thanking us for taking out the insurance stated that total costs taken care of by the insurance exceeded £30,000 just proving how vital it is to take out travel insurance.

I stayed at the Iberostar Selection Sabilia in May 2022 & I am there again in December for a Birthday trip..... Stunning sea views, food is just fantastic, hotel is immactulate. They have water dispensers on every floor which is genuis. The nicest hotel I have stayed at, by far.

Stayed at the Anthelia 13 times, superb hotel with brilliant staff during our 30 visits to the island at all the southern resorts except Christianos and was the best of all. Haven't been for ten years, having to cancel the last one due to illness. Due to illness, the last two years have been terrible, only kept going by you and Laura (and other vloggers) and our thanks for that.

We stayed in the Royal Sunset Beachclub - apartments were OK but the communal areas were pretty poor. Enjoyed seeing that area again.

Hi stayed in the Hovima many times when it use to be called Emmerdale also the Sabila many times when it was called the Torvicas Playa. We now stay in the GF Costa Adeje fabulous hotel.

We had the misfortune of staying in the Beverley hills club, had to get up at 6.00 am to reserve a sunbed, then having a stand up argument with people taking your towels off. never again, we have learned our lesson

@@TheKnightStrider It was new year about 3 years ago, we only ever stay on El Mirador, but we couldn't get our usual apartment because the owners were using it, we stayed at the Atlas Suites last year, and although a bit dated, you can tell they where high end apartments years ago

@@valflynn9571 Hi Val we were there about 3 years ago 0ver new year, and yes it was busy, the problem was that there are signs up stating that you could not reserve sunbeds, but there was no one to supervise it, so other guests where getting up early to reserve them, meaning that if you didn't do the same, you wouldn't get one. And also because the complex is built so high, you only get the sun in some places from about 11.00 am, but as i said that was in January. The arguments started when a Dutch woman took our towels off the beds we reserved, saying "you are not allowed to reserve" but i had to explain to her that if we didn't do as everyone else had done then we wouldn't have got any ? why she chose our towels rather than all the others was beyond me lol

Stayed in April in Hollywood Mirage and we going to Beverly hills heated pool area around 1030 about 4 times during our stay and were able to find sunbeds…there are a few other pools you can roam around to find a spot.

Hi Andrew stayed at hovima hotel every year for 6 but prices shot up so going fuerteventura on the 5 November love Tenerife and hovima maybe come back next year 🤞

Stayed at the Hovima Costa Adeje a few times, brilliant hotel and entertainment. We even stayed when it was the Esmeralda. Going again next year. Yes the front rooms are superior rooms.

Me and my wife stayed in the flamingo suites for our silver wedding anniversary it was beautiful and we had a private splash pool could not afford to stay there now tho.

We would normally be out in los Chris this week, but I have done my back and have a trapped nerve, which is very painful so spending time watching this on catch up, we have stayed in the adults only hovima few years ago, but didn’t enjoy it as it was down hill to the beach path and the all inclusive drinks were awful

@@TheKnightStrider I really liked the last Iberostar hotel and also the one you didn't go into which was before the Iberostar. I believe you said they were both 5 * which might put them out of my reach for a short last minute break. I did like most of them you showed and to be honest I'd stay in a tent if the weather was what you are experiencing at the moment. Best wishes to you both.
