I remember seeing cool moves at "concoursos de merengue". One of them is the skater's pair spin in Closed Position with the man and lady lunging as they do the continuous pivots in place, like they do in pairs figure skating. That is a cool move. The "salsa wrap" move done in salsa can also be done in the merengue too. It usually starts with a cross-handed hold in order to do this effortlessly. Also a good cool move. Your "8" - "Reverse 8" - and "88" wrap combo is very good. I use part of that in my merengue dancing still.
I could never dance like that, not in a million years. You’re a pro through and through no doubt. Some people were born to dance, and you’re the best I’ve seen hon.
It took me almost 2 years of multiple classes to learn salsa, merengue, and bachata. In almost all classes I was the slowest to get things, even had to repeat a few courses. Now I have zero regrets. I was not born to dance but you can learn given enough priority. Hope this helps man. Lots of love
do you have any good resources for beautiful comfortable shoes in size 11 ladies? It would be wonderful if us tall ladies could have something comfortable and pretty to wear also.
