I was watching your video while doing other things, I was looking at your opponents deck and was like I play a deck like that couple minutes passed and I heard you talking about the final steps an im like man that deck is giving him a run for his money. I looked to see who the opponent was and to my surprise I saw my name. Made me feel like a celeb for about 45 secs, until i lost. Good game and in my "Billy the kid " voice Thanks for making me famous. carelessness
That was a really tight game. A fun one. Several ways it could've gone in the later stages. We played a couple days ago. I just preload my videos, so I can imagine the game didn't immediate feel familiar until it started to play out. :)
I love how you are so polite to your deck. "Let's see if we can get an untapped land, mkay?" Meanwhile I am over here yelling and cussing at my deck and the shuffler for hanging me out to dry for 3 turns stuck on 2 mana. LOL. Love your videos!!
I have Narset as a commander, and oh boy, can it be quite a headache keeping track of all the prowess triggers. Especially when I start making copies of Narset. 😅 I enjoy the deck, but I'm only playing it once a session with my friends.
Not always, but sometimes. Though I see it happen on both the play queue and the ladder. I can see where it makes sense sometimes though. If you don't have an answer to their situation and you don't believe you have any realistic outs, it's worth just moving on and saving both people time.
@@PowrDragn I gotta say though I love the deck. I just tried it out and got Narset on the field vs. monored and she took over the game. The opponent roped me with him at 3 life and me at 21 😃
Had hope to see our match here too, but I guess black control isn´t fun to watch as opponment Your deck misses pressure, no draw, your creatures aren´t a threat without the right cards to back them up. Try some combat tricks to support your monks and keep them alive. For every Cut Down or Go for the Throat that get´s blocked by some kind of hexproof or indestructable spell you get a token aswell and can overpower enemys more likely. Narset and Elspeth are to expensive for a deck like yours. No bad feelings or hate from my side but that´s my opinion on this deck after my first experience as opponment.
I'm fine with it as is. It's one of those decks where I'm willing to hit or not and move to the next game. I'd like to have one mana scry or draw spells, but they don't really exist at the moment. So it's better to just do without. The archetype has a lower ceiling because it has to get the right combination of spells vs. creatures, but also wants to do multiple things a turn. It's just that type of deck. Obviously for consistency, over could just play boros. This is just different option to change things up.
