how do i enable this permanently? if i refresh the page it always back to normal that hurts my eyes

Hi John, In the Turn Off the Lights Options page, check if this option is enabled in the "Night Mode" tab: "Automatically go to Night Mode when a new web page is opened" This will automatically convert the website to a night interface if you click on a hyperlink or open a new tab. Also, do you use any other Chrome extensions in the background? Try to disable that one by one except Turn Off the Lights. Is there a way to disable turning the lights back on when clicking on the website? i.e. only making it so that you must hit the button in the extension bar to make it change modes.

the settings are turning back to default when refreshing and also I don't see any button showing up as in video above. I am using Opera GX and Opera.

@Holy, If you installed for the first time a Chrome extension, then you see this gray lamp button in the "puzzle piece" icon (of your Google Chrome web browser). When you click on this "puzzle piece" icon, you see the Turn Off the Lights in the popup panel. Next, click on the "pin it" icon, to see the gray lamp button pinned in your Chrome toolbar. I can't work it. All I wanted to do was stop videos playing before I pressed play, you made a vid showing how to do it, and it doesn't relate to the buttons actually there

Hi @SharzBelij, Check you are using the latest Chromium web browser version. And restart your web browser. A tip: You can use the Double Click menu to open the Options page. How? 1. Click 2X on the gray lamp button 2. The mini settings panel will be visible 3. And on the bottom of this panel, click on the button "Options.
