Kevin, thank you for yet another great video! The way I've been inserting my signature or signature block is, instead of using quick parts, I save the signature image or signature block in auto correct. For example, I copy the signature image or signature block, then go into the auto correct feature. I then give the signature image or signature block a name (i.e., "mysig" which is short for "my signature" ). I then save the auto correct. Now whenever I want to insert my signature image or signature block, I type "mysig" (without the quotation marks) and my signature or signature block is automatically inserted!
This is truly the easiest and most clear video I have seen and found to help. Not to mention all the other extras I learned. Thank you so much for making this video.
I know this video is almost a year old but oh my goodness I now can sign my word docs because of you, THANK YOU!! Now on to see if you do one for excel docs.
Fantastisk! I cannot write on my phone. But I have a new Asus flip14 with touchscreen. I did my signature there direct in OneNote. I did the work on my main computer, via OneDrive, and there followed the description. I made it and I am 76. Many thanks to Kevin.
Thankyou for this, helps alot!!! Can't believe i watched a 15 mins video 😂 Didn't get bored throughout this video!! Thanks to his humour here and there!!
Thanks for this video. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to "sign" a document without a touchpad and without the awful gray background on my text LOL
Thanks Kevin, you cover all basic information in all possible ways for the beginners and explain in very simple language. Thanks for creating very useful videos. 👍.
Thanks man! P.S. I used Windows 10 "Snip" to simply screen capture my edited signature (word's 50% white feature you mentioned) and saved it to an easy spot on my PC. Just copy paste.
Hi Nice video. Just one question tho. This way of signing the document will allow anyone with access to the document to copy your signature. Is there anyway to prevent this?
Thank you SO much! Your instructions were easy to follow, and you provided so much more useful info than I was originally searching for! I think this is the most helpful RU-vid video I've seen!
That's a great presentation - now I have a way to insert an eSignature. Thank you for your expertise. I will send it out to those friends who ask me How to:
Not sure if this helps, but you can also save the doc as a PDF and you can sign it in Reader. The word doc I needed to sign was a locked type and didn't allow me to add/insert anything. You end up with a PDF but it worked out in my situation.
Thank you for making the vide. This is very good information. It saves me a lot of time. My signature consist of three parts, like you add a dot, so I snip it and save the file from the snip.
Ok so I like videos on RU-vid ONLY if they are useful to me and I can go into my Liked Videos list and watch them again when I need them. Your videos are super helpful and thus my Liked Videos list just increased by 10 videos now. Thanks!!
Hi Kevin Loving your videos! Quick question... Why do I not see the option for 'Draw' when I want to customise my ribbon? Is it because I have a very old version? Many thanks
A little help for quick parts: Select the complete signature , hit ALT + F3 and give it a short name, for example sig. Whenever you want to insert it in any of your documents just type sig and hit F3.
I followed your instructions but when I right click and pull up the "Cusomize the Ribbon" DRAW is not listed as an option. Is there another way to get to it?
