@@AZK71 Everybody knows that if a Magic card is at least one year old, then you cant explain it under any circumstances, specially not for a youtube video. Even Jesus said so in the Bible. Specifically, JC said that if you explain an old card you'll get a mana flood for your sins, thats why HGG got flooded in UW control game!
Blue white control is soooo mind numbing for the reasons shown. I'm already flooded, you have counters in hand and unlimited card draw, WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG!? Also I'm ready for Teferi to not exist anymore. While the current one is by far his weakest iteration, he does exactly what UW control needs him to do which is give them infinite mana. They already have access to a ton of exile, counters, card draw, and board wipes. I just hate the best thing to fight control is control. Sometimes you get lucky running hard mono red aggro but I don't want to play that either.
Funny things is I used HGG's Boros Burn and every time I'd pretend to have nothing then constantly wait till they played their spells on my turn commit to the mana then I'd play the burns on my turn and then cremate them to a W. Fun because even when they used a counter spell I had two Lightning Strikes locked and loaded.
It's not just reserved for UW. The majority of my ropers are red or boros aggro. I don't mind though, assuming they're recounting 2+2 on their fingers again.

this deck is nowhere as strong as you make it out to be, made it played it for hours. won maybe 20 percent of fights if not less, it may have had teeth earlier on but no longer the case and this was at gold and platinum levels in ranked. I wish it was and not its not the way i played it before that comes out, just could not keep up past turn 6
Hmmm, I honestly find mono black the easiest to play. It's so consistent for me, almost better than mono white. It feels weakest against control, since we use so much removal.

35:43 on your comment of why control players slow down as game gets less complex, I think it’s what is known as “scoreboard pressure” in professional sports circles. They’re ahead and become more mindful not to make a mistake so as to keep that lead.
Step one: get to mythic BO1 using mono white humans or red prowes/Aggro. Step two: name every video title easy wins, best deck in the meta, win every game or 70% win rate. Then pick the 5 wins out of your 20 games and edit it into a video. It’s entertaining nonetheless.
