It is more of a feat for his ki control and not power /ablility to break dimensions telling he can control ki to such a small level that he can divide his ki into so little that it becomes nothing. I don't know for the super manga but i don't think the physical world will shake like that since it contains weight and mass which would require massive amount of ki to move unlike nothing which would require nothing to move. And shaking the physical world will only result in loss of ki without any damage to the enemy. Goku is not THAT stupid. He got enough BIQ to know that a bad move. Hopefully, my understanding of UI is correct and the manga doesn't say that UI work differently.

One thing I’ve never understood about Dre’s takes despite his takes for Bleach scaling being pretty fair, is this idea of Ichigo stalemating Gojo. We saw firsthand that spatial manipulation attacks can bypass infinity. Bleach gran rey cero’s are stated to bend space. Are we really saying Sukuna’s cleave is superior than a gran rey cero from Ichigo? Doesn’t really make sense to me.

It would make sense if ichigo was not the MC and he didn't know how his power worked but ichigo has the third most popular powers in bleach after almightly and kyogu gestuto. I agree with most of these takes by dre except for few. In my opinion Luffy can get through Infinity via Ryou since he isn't touching him physically. Ichigo can easily cut through Infinity, I mean Sukuna did it dimensional slash that isn't even country level in dc, meanwhile Ichigo's attacks are on par with multiversal beings like Ywhach. Also taking in account of speed, Gojo can't nearly catch up with most of these characters, which proves my next point about Goku. I always acknowledged and admired dre for his fiction-based knowledge, but cmon the hate on Goku is too much 💀 And i'm no goku meatrider, but dude can literally blast away Earth and what would Gojo do? I'll say it again, this is my personal opinion.

But due to Goku’s scaling, speed and power output he should have no problem dealing with infinity especially in Ultra Instinct where the body would move on it’s own to lead Goku towards victory. You’re on point with a few of these, but Goku wouldn’t just destroy the planet, even if it’s to kill whoever he’s fighting. Also the fact that Haki has to travel at all into Gojo’s body would discount it from working on him.
When it comes to ichigo, people usually bring up his scaling to get him past infinity, but i think he has another way to actually get through infinity. Ichigo can use granray cero, which is known to actually warp or break space.
I think people just genuinely overrate infinity and don’t know how it works. One of its limitations is that it is affected by spatial manipulation attacks.

Goku could just send him to space, knowing Goku he'll notice the infinity instantly and began quickly making a technique to break through it just like Sukuna did.
Goku has instant transmission. He can go anywhere he senses energy. He just IT past infinity and holds onto Gojo. From there, he could push Gojo into space.
The only reason I will say instant transmission won’t do anything is because while it probably will get him through infinity after that in order to hit him infinity will activate when he tries to punch as his punches aren’t instant like instant transmission

There is really no debate when it comes to Goku and Ichigo to be honest. They both have feats or have shown relativity to feats of dimensional barrier destruction. Goku shaking the world of void, Buu screaming and breaking space-time, Broly and Gogeta breaking space-time and so on. It's not even a matter of attack speed or range, just the power alone would obliterate Gojo and the Infinity, no questions asked. Ichigo slaps away Kurohitsugi which is consistent as Aizen sits through one casually, Ichigo cuts Yukio's dimension destroying it in the process, fodder hollows traverse dimensions by literally ripping through space-time (Ulquiorra does this with his bare hand), ceros warp and distort space. Being a Quincy, he can absorb energy around him with his sword... that's basically Domain amplification on steroids, he would absorb all the curse energy powering Infinity and just cut Gojo with one swing of his sword. His reiatsu is so heavy that Gojo merely sensing Ichigo would make him see illusions of his own death and make him give up his will to live instantly. And these are just if we're playing along with the notion that "Infinity" HAS to be bypassed, considering the fact that once Gojo expands his domain once, it's over because his CT would be on cooldown and his RCT ain't stopping Goku or Ichigo. And yes, they both have ways around Infinite Void. Ichigo just recently took on the memories and knowledge of the Reio, a being that has existed since the dawn of time and knows everything across Infinite timelines past, present and future. So Infinite information flooding his brain wouldn't do anything to him. Also, he can break a domain barrier from the inside rather easily. Even in the unlikely event where his brain is fried or he becomes paralysed, not only does Blut vene passively defend against anything Gojo can damage him with, White Zangetsu can just take over his body and I promise you, Gojo is not surviving the absolute terror that is Vasto Lorde Ichigo. Goku also breaks out easily. Because he can react to teleportation, he has Infinite speed reaction time meaning his brain can already process information infinitely faster than normal so Infinite Void would just be instantly processed. He has UI which grants him automatic movements without the input of thought, so even without an active brain he'd still beat Gojo. And of course, even if Gojo does paralyse Goku, none of his attacks are damaging him. He'll just eventually regain autonomy and whoop Gojo anyway. So like I said, these 2 are NOT in the slightest bit debatable.

Imma just say this in DBZ super buu yelled and that yell was able to break through the time chamber basically making a hole in space and time that was a yell goku as of DBS is countless times stronger then DBZ super buu while at base meaning he could just punch a hole in infinity (also he does scale to infinite speed and also has the ability to teleport behind infinity so there’s that)

Honestly, since Luffy can rubberize and touch air in a way that he can run on it, he would absolutely just rubberize gojo’s infinity and then punch him with it or some shit. Plus Ryou would probably get through it since it moves into an object after the physical hit.

As far as I know, his ability works by categorizing things as threats. Then his technique does all the work, no matter if he can actually see the threats. Otherwise sneak attacks would easily be able to end him.
I wonder if you can make an argument for Meruems En or In ability? (Forgot which one it’s called) we know Infinity doesn’t stop or slow down light/photons so maybe that would get through?
Something i rarely see people bring up is that Goku's God Kamehameha has punched straight into pocket dimensions. During his rematch with Hit, Hit creates a pocket dimension using the stored time his Time-Skip creates. Goku then powers up to Blue and fires a Kamehameha so powerful that it just broke into another dimensional space and blasted Hit back out of it. I dont see any real reason as to why Infinity would be able to stop him. But for arguments sake lets say it does stop Goku right? By using verse equalization, Cursed Energy = Ki, thus creating a signature for Goku to lock onto using Instant Transmission. Theres nothing stopping Goku from just outright grabbing him that way and flinging him into Orbit.
We can end the debate easily, DBZ super buu can literally scream through dimensions, and create holes between space and time, current base goku's presence alone would vaporise that buu. Goku has been bypassing infinity, even higher infinities several times, i think Dre's knowledge about powers of db characters are still in the cell saga or the frieza saga.
if we use Verse Equalisation(Cursed Energy is the same as Ki) then Goku would destroy Gojo because his Ki is way higher and stronger than Gojo's cursed energy. in other words Goku's Ki would no doubt overpower Gojo no matter if he does Goku things or not
If we’re talking Post-Rose Meruem I think it’s a different story. He has the durability to tank most attacks Gojo has other than most likely Hollow Nuke, and let say the fights take place in an arena. Meruem has mountain level AP using Youpis rage blast and could probably destroy any arena they’re fighting in with a big blast, and as we’ve seen, explosions can bypass infinity. Gojos Hollow Nuke did damage too him, if Meruem can use full power rage blasts consistently I think he gets the win. But idk, you can argue with me if you want.

Well Luffy's Haki could possibly negate infinity or the projecting Haki could bypass infinity via Advanced Armament/Conquerors Haki it since Haki has no mass. or Gear 5 could toon force it.

In theory, Gearshift should get him through Infinity. Infinity slows you down "infinitely" and distorts space to protect Gojo. Gearshift uses minor spacial manipulation to speed up and slow down Deku and/or things he touches.
Even if Ichigo isn't cutting infinity he would win due to Gojo getting damaged by just reiatsu. even Gin got a chunk of his arm destroyed by just touching hogyoku Aizen

In Dragonballs defense, raw power cancels hax in that verse same way Jiren was able to move by overpowering the concept of time when he was frozen in time by Hit . Goku powering through infinity is very possible considering the sheer raw power difference between them.

the thing with ki in dragon ball is it makes it so that if someone has a drastically higher power level it cancels out someone’s ability (i.e goku moving through a timeskip, vegeta punching through top’s destruction orb) so under verse equalization his energy would just make gojo’s infinity moot

Goku can overpower the hax. Because of verse equalization, infinity is now a KI technique rather than a cursed technique. Goku has been shown to overpower such techniques in the past that revolve around seemingly untouchable concepts like time (hit) etc
To me infinitys untouchable nature seemed to have a limit so if something just speedblitz towards gojo and knocks him out in 1 hit they can win. Though i dont think most people here can reach fast speeds dispite makimas power if it travels since it feels near instant

People forget that db characters has been using space negating attacks since buu saga. To even more back it up, god Goku clashing with beerus nearly destroyed an infinite sized 5D+ structure. I don't why is still there a debate about this, also goju has shown several times immeasurable speed feats too so bypassing infinity is not a big deal. Same goes for ichigo, spatial negation attack is not a big deal for ichigo because bro activating his bankqi destroyed a dimension.
With Sukuna it depends on which form. Meguna wins, currest healthy Sukuna has a good chance. Yujikuna straight up has no chance and Heian Sukuna would lose too since it's been stated his fingers grow stronger and stronger, which theoretically means he gets strongwr as well, that would mean current Sukuna statwise is probably a good bit stronger than Heiankuna
The funny thing about Makima. The only ability in her arsenal that could get through Infinity is her "Bang!" When Makima points her finger at you, and says "Bang", she doesn't doesnt shoot an invisible magic bullet. The wound just...appears on you. So there wouldnt be any mass to be blocked by Infinity.
The only reason why Sukuna won agaisnt Gojo was because he used Moghoraga (ignore my spelling) The writer confirmed that if Sukuna didnt Gojo would of won

Why do people keep misinterpreting Gojo's infinity when it was clearly explained in the manga. Anyone who can move faster than light automatically ingores his infinity.
Don't mean to be a Goku guy but he can get through infinity because in the guidebooks it said that the universe holds an infinite amount of stars and space so even Krillin could get though it
