My favorite cat was a female calico cat named "FUZZY" named after her fuzzy looking tail . She was a stray cat that we would feed and pet . Some months later we moved into a bigger house and the cat was afraid that we were going to abandon her . I took "FUZZY" and put her in my car and drove to her new home . She was not in a holding pen but in a box and she jumped around and scratched me all the way to the new house . It took her a while to get used to her new surroundings and in the next few months winter set in and we had to keep FUZZY indoors as the temperature dropped to below zero and that year of January 1977 the Ohio river froze over solid in Kentucky ! Once spring returned FUZZY became an outdoor cat . She died of a cat virus on the same day as my father . I still think of her and I miss her !
