Goodness gracious! I talked about this make up box almost two years ago and promised to show it in a video. I almost forgot until I was kindly reminded by a few of you. I'm using the box a lot more now and it's filled with Cruelty Free goodies of course. Nearly and hour of make up talk so I won't be offended if you never see the end :-P In fact there is quite a lot of editing from about the half way mark due to a few sounds I thought may wake you up, hopefully you'll be asleep by then! Scottish Murmurs ASMR Illamasqua has very good quality, cruelty-free makeup. I order directly from them (I'm in the US). There's a range of prices for cruelty-free cosmetics from many companies. I have inexpensive Wet N Wild 6-piece eyeshadow palettes with very good color payoff. In terms of selecting, it's up to the buyer. Some people will purchase from cruelty-free companies whose corporate owner is not cruelty free (brands like Urban Decay don't test on animals but, the parent company does). Other people will only buy from companies whose corporate owner is also against animal testing. The rule of thumb is - if a company sells in Mainland China, it's not cruelty free. It can be made in China and not conduct animal testing only if its products are for export (like Wet N Wild).

Look up Shiro Cosmetics! There are a lot of small indie companies that are cruelty-free and vegan :) It's nice to support small businesses, too, rather than buying some CEO's second yacht or whatever.

I stopped buying from brands that test on animals about 4 years ago, and I have honestly found better products than my non-cruelty free favorites. and as a bunny owner you really see their love and know they feel too :)love your videos always and especially this one

What i like about Emmas videos is that she is so calm and slow when she taps or displays trigger noises. A lot of ASMR artists do this too quick and almost aggressively.

I love your make up collection Emma. I converted to cruelty free beauty about April this year and it's the best decision i've ever made. I was upset when i found out that L'oreal, Mac cosmetics and Avon still test on animals. Barry M and NYX cosmetics are my favourite cruelty free beauty brands. I would recommend you try NYX products if you haven't already :)

Her nail polish collection video made me go out and buy a bunch of polishes...and I never polish my nails. XD I kept up with it for a few weeks, but it takes SO LONG for the polish to dry (because I'm sure I must be doing something wrong), so I've gotten tired of waiting for hours only to have my polish get dinged anyway. But I'm sure I'll go back to it; I bought some fun colors!

veryberry39 Some people have more natural oil in their nails which I believe can make it longer for some polishes to dry. You can buy drying drops which speed up drying times, I use Leighton Denny (I've never looked into vegan/cruelty free drying drops, shame on me, but I will now!). Also make sure you apply polish very thinly and do two or three coats 🙂 Hope that helps. Edit: Just checked and Leighton Denny is cruelty free/vegan 👍

Oh man, the love I have for e.l.f. brand cosmetics is insane. I never used to like cosmetics until I discovered their line, and now I have easily at least a couple hundred dollars' worth of their stuff. I have a bunch of products in one of their own quilted makeup bags, even, and the bag is one of the prettiest things I own. It also makes me feel good that it's completely vegan and cruelty free and I feel like I can wear that makeup and look my adorable doggo straight in her cute brown eyes. In the U.S. that line is all over the place -- I buy a lot of their products at Walmart and Target -- so it's no problem to see exactly what colors their items are, so I wish they could do the same over there in the UK in the British Walmart, aka Asda, and whatever the British version of Target is. That way you can get more e.l.f. products! Oh, and I need to try to find me some of those nail polishes you showcased. I don't want to spend more than a few dollars but I also want to go cruelty free there, so are there any recommendations y'all have on that end?

I haven't finished the video yet and you may mention them, but wanted to recommend Arbonne for make up and skin care. I don't sell the product but recently had a party and loved their CC cream and eyeshadow. And had a friend rave about the mascara. It is a bit pricey but they sell cruelty free and vegan products. Check them out and hope you enjoy!

Emma I'm inspired by you to continue my journey to swap out my makeup. All of my skincare and haircare and most makeup is cruelty free but I have a bit more to go here in Canada! For your dazzle dusts, you can use vaseline or clear lip gloss and make your own gloss especially out of the red you don't think you'll wear! Or you can get a mixing medium (NYX makes a great transforming gel) and use as eyeliner. Or you can use them with nail Polish to create your own colour. I hope that gives you ideas? makeup packaging sounds yes! I have a lip gloss with a wonderful twist and click mechanism which is part of why I love it. That and my lips used to be really shoddy before I started using it. But that mechanism sound, I've tried to demonstrate to people but they don't get how good it sounds. It's like a metal clip purse closure, perfect.

Nice video. Yes!! I have that balm bronzer too and a balm shadow/blush which I use for my everyday blush. It's a peach color. Very shimmery and pretty. Love love love ❤️

+peanutbutterlovesme Oh that's so nice if you. Sometimes I forget how kind the ASMR-community is. TBH honest it was okay I guess. I wasn't as terrible as I could have been, but yeah...turned out that job in that particular company is quite close to my worst nightmare, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Much respect for you for going cruelty free! I've recently gotten into makeup again, and forgot how many brands still test on animals. No matter how awesome a product might be I can't support a company that thinks it's OK to put their products in bunnies eyes.
