How should "Pakistani should have won easily"? As an Englishman i don't get that comment. If anything England should have won it much easier considering how many easy catches they dropped, they only used 7 wickets in the entire game, only gave up batting when they got bored and were better, by a mile, in every department. No doubt he was thinking that after posting 550+ they should always win, but on a pitch like that any side could get 500+ especially batting first. England's first inn's only showed how sub par even 500 is on such a track. Unless they do something different in the next test, and we are forced to endure more flat track cricket then expect another similar result. Pakistan made 550ish all out in 149 overs. England made 823/7 in 150, batting second. Amassing big scores and batting without fear of failure has been the exact philosophy of English cricket since bazball came along so i just can't understand why pakistan are setting up these pitches to suit England's strengths. Makes no sense. I think the blame for this match lies higher up than just the players.

Recent years Pakistan had likes of Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoab Akhtar, Abdul Kader, Danesh Kaneria, Mustaq Ahmed & Saeed Ajmal to name a few and now we have hardly anyone of that calibre.

Pakistan bowlers have become clueless. Pakistan can't win test matches at home if their bowlers are unable to get 20 wickets, contain the flow of runs and restrict run rate to less than 3.5 an over. 556 is a very good score in a test match for their bowlers to defend such a score. Giving away 823 runs at 5.5 runs an over at home shows that Pakistan bowling is not up to test standard.

Blame terrorism. This is the result of being a terror factory! Teams stopped touring the country (after being attacked). Excludes from IPL which nurture world cricket besides making them rich . Cricket pitch in Pakistan (Multan in this case) obviously sucks. I cannot believe England made more than 800 runs! Since Pk has fast bowlers, why are the pitches not made to help them? Why make batter friendly pitches?
