Thank you for doing this. It is so funny the semantics they play. @@kingmonoMainstream scholars reject the notion that Egypt was a white or black civilization; they maintain that applying modern notions of black or white races to ancient Egypt is anachronistic.[6][7][8] In addition, scholars reject the notion, implicit in the notion of a black or white Egypt hypothesis, that Ancient Egypt was racially homogeneous; instead, skin color varied between the peoples of Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and Nubia, who in various eras rose to power in Ancient Egypt. Within Egyptian history, despite multiple foreign invasions, the demographics were not shifted substantially by large migrations.

Exactly sir. I'm white and I can't deny in any way the reality that's clearly stamped on my face. I'm appalled at how many people deny this obvious fact. Like what is the purpose of taking away this merit from dark-skinned Africans? All races built great and important civilizations in the past, it's not a big deal to want to take away the merit of black people as if it were something from another world just because they can't replicate this civilization today.
I would just like to understand why there are so few black people like this RU-vidr committed to showing the reality that is already obvious. Like, where are the black American billionaires and famous celebrities who should invest money in genetic studies, research and documentaries to prove to the whole world once and for all the absolute truth of the facts. Let’s get this out there for educational purposes. It was called the land of Khemit because the soil along the Nile was black and fertile. It wasn’t called Khemit because the people had black skin tone. Sub Saharan Africans or Nubians we’re colored black on wall paintings while Egyptians were colored brown while their wives were light skinned. This only means one thing…the ancient Egyptian men were tanned because they spent more time in the sun than the women. We can also go over DNA haplgroups of the ancient mummies if you’d like.
@dominionphilosophy3698The ancient egyptians were native (or sub saharan as you racist like to call it) black africans. Who were living in the nile valley region of north africa for thousands of years prior to europeans and arabs invading the kingdom. That's a fact kid.

Even though the Ancient Kemet was started and initially an African civilization for thousands of years, it’s still human history. All people can still celebrate and remember it as we do other Ancient civilizations.
Ancient Egyptians surely were “African” but depicting them as necessarily dark skinned might not be very accurate. As a modern day Egyptian, I will always identify as “African”. However, the afrocentric movement trying to exclude the entire North African region (who are not necessarily dark skinned) from being African is blatantly racist. Being African is NOT equal to being necessarily dark skinned. The DNA of those Ancient Egyptians kings is mostly shared with modern day Egyptians who do not look like that “reconstruction”. I am proud to be African, but this is blatant falsification of facts.
I am glad you are a proud African, you are always welcome here with that attitude, we are brothers. 👊🏾🙌🏾 On that note, would you not consider it somewhat hypocritical, and to a large extent gaslighting to accuse the correct portrayal of ancient Egyptians as heavily melenated Africans as an attempt to exclude you? I find it bizarre, because: 1) it's how they depicted themselves 2) it's proven in their cranial morphology 3) it's proven in the tropical skeletal morphology 4) it's proven in their cultural context 5) it's proven by their language... There are black Egyptians to this day, in great number, do they not count? Only fair skinned Egyptians who know they carry a much larger proportion of greek, turk or Arabic blood should be classed as true, and those less mixed to the south are classed as mixed with 'sub saharans'... The problem lies not in the melenation of the ancient Egyptian civilisation, that is indisputable, it lies in the modern racist culture that has gripped Egypt and has thr population endemically bleaching and straightening their hair to hide their africanicity. If you solved your interalnalised prejudice against black people, you would find it easy to embrace the obvious truth of black ancient Egypt and we could celebrate it together. You're not going to gaslight ancient Egypt out of Africa.
Why wouldn’t it be accurate, that now they drew themselves. Valley of the kings depicts nothing but dark skin Africans. Greeks said they were dark skin with wooly hair. That dna from those mummies showed invaders and immigrants. The dna didn’t even go back to the foundational era.
It's ignored because it's a nonsense claim. Modern day Egyptians are the indigenous people of Egypt, which is proven by the matched DNA of mummies and today's Egypt population. Egyptologists say that kemet refers to the dark soil of Nail river banks. Saying ancient Egypt civilization was built by black Africans because it's located in Africa is like saying Babylon was built by Chinese/ Eastern Asian because it's located in Asia, which is a ridiculous claim.
Watch my videos. It's not even a debate at this point. Only nonsense claim is to claim modern northern Egyptians aren't the result of 2000 years of invasion and occupation.
@@dp2404 those dna results you're citing (klaus, Schuenemann et al) are bogus. No one cares about the dna results of Greek mummies from the fayuum... If the population didn't change, then how did they lose their indigenous language, yet the 'nubians' have preserved it??? Hmmm 🥴

As an Egyptian and a student of Egyptology, I’d like to correct the skin color arguments happening in the comments. Not all of Egypt is in Africa, part of it is in the Middle East. The Middle Eastern people are Arabs, as well as Asians. This doesn’t give them the usual Asian stereotype. They are southwestern Asians. While Egypt does claim a part of the Middle East, it doesnt make it an Arab Country or Arab people. They aren’t black nor white, skin color varies all across modern Egypt and most likely also ancient Egypt. But from my studies of artifacts, mummies, paintings, ancient egyptian art and more monuments etc, most rulers possibly shared a bronze or burnt sienna-ish skin color. And compared to modern egyptians, (who are direct descendants of the ancient Egyptians) they are commonly fair skinned or bronze. Some are black, but they do not have the typical African features. Both ancient and modern Egyptians, like myself, are African but that doesn’t necessarily make them dark-skinned.

@@kingmono the fact that there is nothing in it for me is exactly why I am less likely to lie. It's very clear that many "African" people with "very high melanated " skin are ashamed of their past due to slavery and very low social/economic development compared to Europe and Asia. This incentivizes Melinated Africans to create outlandish narratives to pacify their insecurities. Europeans, for instance never try to debunk the Chinese or Indians. They have exceptionally ancient, complex and advanced societies. There is no insecurity for us there. We just like calling out bullshit. Uh…..no. They’ve done genetic tests on ancient mummies from the new kingdom and old kingdom and Middle Kingdom and they’re genetically similar to modern Egyptians. In fact modern Egyptians have MORE sub Saharan dna than their ancient counterparts. The Egyptians depicted their enemies the Nubians and they depict them with African phenotypes. Color in ancient art is not a good metric of race since color was an artistic expression and men were depicted as being dark and women light. They were no sub Saharan Africans.
