Wow! My husband is on Twitter and he told me I had to watch this. We share almost the exact same story (minus my ex doing drugs and me being successful lol)! I haven't gotten any help from doctors with ADHD, but I know I have it because I'm all over the place. I've even told my husband the exact same thing, "I'm broken. I suck." I know EXACTLY how that feels. I've cried so many times because I couldn't concentrate on what I needed to, because it takes me three times as long to get homework done for my Master's. Everything is so hard and I'm so forgetful. We are currently locked out of our bathroom closet because I had the key and can't remember where I hid it! Last week it was my Google password that I couldn't remember, so they sent a reset email to my recovery email. Well, I couldn't remember that password either! I forget things everywhere. As soon as I walk into a room I get distracted by something and forget why I'm there. Same with my phone, if there are ANY notifications at all, I lose complete track of what I was supposed to be doing. It's horrible and frustrating and my primary has just told me that I have too much going on and that it's normal. I've tried everything as well and I've been dealing with it as long as I can remember! So I'm curious, what psychiatrist did you see? I would LOVE to finally get some help! I've felt like such a failure for so long. I want to see from clear glasses too! 😭😭😭
