I'm guessing that in the bass type menu f stands for fingered technique giving a softer sound, whilst p is for plectrum plucked, giving a more aggressive attack and harder sound. A nice RE but as lots have commented too expensive for me.

That makes sense! I understand. They should do a price pyramid for the version of Reason users own. Cheaper at the top perhaps.

So is this plug the same as the Reason Bass Refill from 10 years ago only with a new GUI?

Not exactly. This is a little more tweakable. Worth having. But the refill is cool too @@totigerus

@@dougroyce5784 Thanks man. Knowing me, I'm sure I'll buy it at some point. But I still use the Refill all the time. I hope this plug has that double mapping feature like in the Refill. Not sure what it's called but the feature when the bass' whole range is doubled on the keyboard for more realistic 16th note bass playing.

This is a price inflated device that doesn't even have a pitch wheel. In order to get that feature you have to connect it to a Combinator, which is stupid IMO. You are better off sticking with the Refill.

It's the same thing bro. Just a RE version. Did they map the presets the entire keyboard range? I'm sure they didn't as they didn't with the refill. That would a bonus
