😱🚨 QUALITY ISSUES WITH LOUIS VUITTON MINI BUMBAG! LV ATLANTIS GM  

Not to break anyone's heart but just because it says made in the USA or Italy does mean the item is really made there. I saw a documentary about luxury products being mde in China, India, Pakistan...etc and then shipped to (western countries) France, Spain, Italy or the USA for the finish touch & then add made in France...etc tag.

i’ve been saying the same thing! everyone needs to look over their bags carefully and bring them back if there are any issues. maybe LV will stop increasing the prices and start increasing the quality control! I got the pink empreinte mini bum bag and the zipper doesn’t run smoothly at all. then I got the new camera box bag and it didn’t come with plastic on the front lock face plate and there were already scratches on it! i’m going to inspect my mini bum bag more closely right now.. I haven’t worn it out yet and i’m close to the 30 day window. 😅 I also ordered the mono mini bum bag today. i’m really hoping it’s MIF (🤞) and doesn’t have any flaws, but we are probably in the “returned bag” period, i’m assuming (LV relisting returned bags before the next production run).

When I received my first mini bumbag- after waiting a month for it - the front pocket was sewn on completely crooked. It was soooo obvious, I couldn’t believe it was sent out (it was an online order). When I took it in to my LV to return, they could see it right away and couldn’t believe how bad it looked. I asked them specifically if they were sending it back and would it be put back in circulation - as I wanted to order another and was afraid I’d get the same one 😂 - and they advised me absolutely not. They were going to damage it out 🤷🏻‍♀️. Took another month for me to get another and it was perfect so I was fortunate that time.

I received my mini bum bag 2 weeks ago. After watching your video I realized that my bag is also defective on the stitching with the welt. UGH Sent photo to LV and she said she could see where my concern is. That tells you everything. My bag was made in Italy. I love the bag and wonder if I will ever get a good one, they are out of stock right now. UGH

It looks like the zipper was sewn too close to the piping and causing it to cave in to match the curve of the bag 🙁

I have no problems with my Made in Italy Mini Bumbag, but returned my High Rise due to quality issues. Now I have to wait another 5 or so weeks. There was tissue paper in the bottom of the High Rise (first time I ever had a LV bag with tissue paper in it) and the product ID tag missing, along with the textile little card missing too. There was a really bad (permanent) crease on one end and the start of "cracking." It was obviously a return! I'm not holding my breath for the next one to be better, but trying again. Ridiculous to pay what we pay for this lack. of QA.

Is LV not going to look down on us for returns? Everything I've returned is for quality issues anyway...but its been a few

Mine came in 3 days ago, upon checking they sent me a returned bag 😢 unacceptable! The lining was dirty. Called lv right away, this bag is going back!

This is absurd! We have to pay so much and yet we have to be the Quality Controller! Is this even luxury? Super replicas don’t even have such issue.

Not only with these Mini Bumbags. Also the Monoglam Series has catastrophic quality issues. Zipper wrong, Misalignment. Etc. LV says its handmade so no guarantee or change. I am nearly done with this brand. Spend yearly 30k or more on bags which are more often assembled like……xxx It is unbelievable.

I’ve been searching for the “made in” patch. Mine doesn’t say “made in” it only says Louis Vuitton Paris. I dm’d a picture to your IG. Did I get the wrong patch? 😭😭😭

Fortunately checked mine all over when I unboxed this beauty, mine is perfect, also made in Italy. I adore this mini bum bag…so easy to wear! There are a lot of details on this small bag. I appreciate your advise about the chain..so I am attaching the chain to my shoulder strap clip instead..works great! Sorry this happened to your friends bag..not good LV. Thank you Marquita.

Mine is like that on the front. It deeps down like that and it's made in Italy too. I have it for 2 month now and I really like it.

I don’t care if it’s boxed, I need to see it before I leave the store. I purchased the black Multi Pochette. The SA asked me why I wanted to order it and not buy the one in the store? Girl, you see the same scratch I see on that purse! 🙄 Don’t try to sell me an obvious returned bag or the one on the shelf everyone has tried on. 😤 I hate when this happens. It appears that the zipper is sewn on incorrectly and is covering the piping. The quality control is lacking and have been for a while. I have had several bags that I had to return due to quality issues. I purchase from many brands and the quality is consistently diminishing. My theory is that the brands are rushing these products to the market in an effort to compete with each other and the demand from us consumers. Over the years, the number of releases and bags that are being released have dramatically increased. Also, the amount of money spent on luxury goods have also continued to increase. I’m sure that the brands have set new bars that are driving the price increases as well has impacting the schedule and production ability to meet the frequent release dates. Its turning into a hot mess in my humble opinion. Thanks for this video. I always look my bag over due to past experiences and because I’m a designer and interest in handbag making. I also have a QC back ground and just know that no one or no process is perfect and there will be defects. For that reason this doesn’t scare me at all its common in most industries where more money is spent like automotive and housing unfortunately. In fact, one of the things I like about LV is their return process which in my experience is easy and also their repair services. I hope your friend is able to get a no hassle refund or exchange.

Ok so i got my high rise bumbag out and it has a dip like that in the very front. I dont think i have my receipt either...I haven't even carried it yet....and I don't live near a boutique...I ordered it online. I'm calling tomorrow 😭😭😭😭😭 AND it was made in USA

The prices for these designer bags continue to go up! I love LV but, I haven’t purchased any bags since 2020. I have a vintage bag from 2000. The quality is top notch and I paid under $200. They need to get it together no excuse for quality issues!

thank you so much for urging us to advocate for ourselves! I finally got the mini bumbag and the alignment is off on one side, so I told my SA I needed a replacement or a refund. I would've never asked for a replacement until you mentioned that these bags needed to be on par because this is our hard earned money. Mine was made in the USA.

Well I sent back my high rise today. Right in the front/center there was a dip at the seam at the top. I thought it was from shipping bc it was mashed flat in the box🙄🙄 but it wasn't bc I left it sitting(and stuffed it so that spot would be fixed) for a week or so and it's still the same...

I have a Mini Bumbag in the pink leather...shes perfect ❤❤❤

My Bumbag is the same. I thought it was a bit off when I got it but was told it's how it's designed.
