Dan is an amazing very talented singer. He is my favorite of all time. Gorgeous hair, Gorgeous man.

Dan Vasc has no comfort zone at all because he feels comfortable in any genre. Whether metal, rock, opera etc. And you can hear that 1:1 in every one of his songs. It's also worth listening to the "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" by his band Fearless. This guy is just great ❤️

Love your explanation about tessatura vs range. He is in such character and tone singing The Music of the Night, Gethsemane, Burn Butcher Burn that will fan the flames to fandom.

Thanks for doing this one. It's fun! One in which Dan goes back and forth between his lower and higher range is Fairy Tale, an absolute progressive metal classic. The other singers are Skar, Jonathan Young and Peter Hollens, that do metal covers on RU-vid like Dan, Ken Tamplin, one of Dan's first teachers and the og RU-vid vocal coach and Raphael Mendes, who's in a Iron Maiden tribute band and is most known for his covers of other artists in the style of Bruce Dickinson.

I have a lower register voice, and I notice nowadays that my vocal chords get stuck and stop producing sound on vowels a lot of the time in my lower register. It's odd, and I don't understand it. I kinda wonder if it means my vocal chords got damaged over time. I have dealt with a lot of acid, but also when I had surgery for appendicitis 8 years ago, the breathing tube they used on me was too big and had me coughing up flem and a little blood. My voice was very course as I recovered, and I think my voice gained a slight course quality to it in some registers/notes afterwards. Just thinking out loud.

You need to look at your sound. It was very tinny..
