Why didn't the historian search for where the mother comes from before making such conclusion. The fact that Napo may not be able to mount the Asante throne doesn't mean he is not a royal. Otumfuor's children can't mount the throne but that doesn't mean they are not from the Royal family. Hahaha why are you running away from your history? Asante is just a union, not a Tribe, that came only 300 years ago. All Akans, including the clans that formed Asante Union, first arrived in the North and it was Dagomba/dagbon people who host us. Our Akan ancestors lived them, inter-married, learned a lot from them for hundreds of years before they Descended southwest where most of us are today. Also during the Akan clans war with Denkyira for the freedom from Slavery, it was the Mosi/Dagomba and some defected Denkyira soldiers who Fought alongside with the Clans to defeat Denkyira. The Batakari worn by Yaa Asantewaa and all Akan warriors came from the North. Also In the past The Akans royals used to go to the North to Marry tall Northern women so that their offsprings will be taller. So we are closer to them than you think. You See since Asantes creation we have distorted all Akan customs, history, traditions, culture, to favor Asantes when everything they are practicing today comes from all Akans
