😲 Amazing! It tastes like a restaurant dish, but not its price😏. This pasta recipe with tuna and baked tomatoes is an easy and simple fusilli dish that will please the whole family. Its preparation is basic, but with a few little tricks you will achieve an authentic Italian flavor.

Pasta with tuna and baked candied tomatoes recipe:
🛒 Ingredients (4 servings):
🔸 320 g pasta (fusilli) (3 ¼ cup)
🔹 1 kg assorted tomatoes (2 lb)
🔸 112 g tuna in water (2 small cans/4 oz)
🔹 1 onion
🔸 3 garlic cloves
🔹 Salt
🔸 Pepper
🔹 Oregano, basil, dried thyme
🔸 1 tsp sugar
🔹 35 g bread (⅓ cup)
🔸 15 g raw almonds (10 pcs)
🔹 Olive oil
🍳 Pasta dish with tuna and candied baked tomatoes, step by step:
1️⃣ Wash and dry the tomatoes. Put olive oil in the base of an ovenproof dish. Add the tomatoes and the unpeeled garlic cloves. Add salt, sugar, oregano, basil and thyme. Pour a little olive oil and mix well. Bake at 180 ºC (356 ºF) for 40 min.
2️⃣ Coarsely chop the bread and almonds. Put them in a frying pan and toast them over low heat. Set aside.
3️⃣ Chop and sauté the onion over low heat. Add the roasted tomatoes and the juice they have released, season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. Mix the tuna with the sauce.
4️⃣ Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water for the time indicated by the manufacturer.
5️⃣ Pour it into the sauce with a ladle of cooking water and cook over medium heat for a couple of minutes, until creamy.
6️⃣ Serve with a drizzle of olive oil, toasted bread with almonds and some fresh basil leaves.
