Why does the soloist sing all over the choir? It's not necessary to drown out the background music. If they can't be understood/heard, she should just be a solo. A powerful song but could have been so much better. Just my opinion as a musician and vocalist. Just because you know ad libs and riffs. Why use every one in a single song?

Personally, I think the music is too loud. I don't hear this soloist doing anything much different than other vocalists of this same song.
