I guess what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’m not the same as I was by any means. I have always hoped that within time that I could trust fully to give my emotions but I am much more reserved than I used to be. I let them in just so much and then I put them at arms length. I just don’t feel like I can give that part of me to anybody. I have never felt that freely to do so since. I hope that one day when it is right I can feel like that again, hopefully be able to feel because I’m numb and can’t feel anything but for now I’m good with what I need to do for me. Maybe I just haven’t met the right one again. You can’t just give that to anybody and everybody. You have to be selective in what you choose to do. Those kind of feelings don’t always happen. It’s just when it’s the right time and a once in a lifetime kind of special, that’s what makes it special and unique because you can’t have that with just anybody. I guess that is what makes it hurt because when you felt that you had something that nobody else had or could have and then in a split second it was gone. That is what was hard and makes it hurt. Everything you had was gone and then you don’t really know how to continue on because what you counted on is gone now. To be honest, I really don’t know what I feel anymore. I have kind of dimmed my feelings of any kind of emotions to anything. I’m just letting my life do its thing, like I did before and letting whatever happens happen. When it is meant to be it will be and in the meantime I will take care of myself.
