I remmember there being a 2018-ish advertisement that sold several different ones (which they reffered to as "faceshields" for some reason) with galaxy patterns & showed how to fold it. Can't find it again or know what it's called but I really wished I could've bought some of them.
Ive watched alot of how to wear 12 style headgear but this is by FAR my favorite. I like how he gives you tips and alternate ways to use the same exact style. Definitely earned my subscription
I bought one today at a local Walmart store for $19.99 I suffer with allergies which tends to effect how easy I can get a breath. Since most store req's you to wear a mask while inside the store wearing the normal doctor kind of masks gets to me after a while. So I bought one of these adult mission gaiter I can wear while inside stores I can breath more easy while wearing the gaiter. Course I plan on using it while I'm fishing during the sunny months of summer which is when I tend to get sun burns the most.
Know that it's not as good as surgical masks for protecting against covid 19, but if you maintain at least 6 feet distance from other people, you don't really have anything to worry about.
Great video, thanks! I've used this in the "do rag" style at Mud Runs and OCRs in the blazing summer heat. It helps a lot! At drink stations I dump a cup of water on my head. I always hear "what a good idea" from others near me.
My favorite demonstration I've seen so far I just bought my first Hurley multifunctional seamless wear gaiter I'll be watching your video over and over that was pretty cool man thank you! I'm a female I don't know if that matters
I had something similar when Covid was a thing…. I noticed after a few dozen uses the elasticity would wear down. Kinda brought it back with a wash but when it goes it goes. Good review!
I love my mission cooling towel gator thing! You do have to get it wet , ring it, and fluff it for maximum effect. You do have to clean it with soap often or it gets stanky I do no like the arctic version it sucks! I love the Arctic hat both versions.
Excellent video. Thank you as I just used to use neck wrap, head band, Bandana and twisted skull cap. But now will try the Ninja or balaclava as I know it. And the others too 👍
the studies are getting a little silly, they contradict each other frequently. I like the gaiters...I've even seen some that have filters. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u Yes! Competition technique for sure. LOL! They ALL have the better product.👀 We have some that you can put the filters in also. They all work well for us. 😊
Saw a study yesterday that said gaiters should not be used as masks to prevent covid spread because not only are droplets getting past it, but the stretch material is making them smaller and more susceptible to being transmitted...and that it was literally better not to wear a mask than to wear a gaiter. And yea that ninja is gonna come in handy in winter, I like turning off my heat as I sleep toasty under down blankets. Keep my face warm. Don’t judge, saves money and makes a hot cuppa tea feel amazing as I wake.
I'm a fan of the gaiters. there are a lot of contradicting reports/studies out there. My understanding is the majority of masks/gaiters wont protect against any virus. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
you should read follow up analysis of that "study". That study was only conducted to determine a new method for testing masks. Only a few people only tested it, hardly a study. Washington Post caught wind of this and made it viral that it was bad but that only showed that the journalist have no scientific background as to how studies are conducted.
Women always look better in beanie caps neck gaiters and bandana than guys do. Especially for the hair rap you showed with their hair in a pony or a braid. Thanks for showing 12 ways to wear a gaiter.
Nothing better in winter. Even a thin gaiter is enough to block a cold wind and keep your skin from freezing. A whole lot easier to carry and manage than a scarf.
I just shaved my head and already have a bunch of neck gaiters thanks to covid but figured I could also use them to protect my dome from the sun. That KS for the video.
Hey thanks a lot man, I found this really helpful I just got my first gaiter and wanted to know other ways I could put it on like the ninja for example
@@Jeffreviews4u Your welcome, I recently purchased a Neck Gaiter and wanted to learn how to do all the different ways of wearing it, I went through a few videos, yours was the easiest to watch! Great job
what i do. fold gaither in half, print side out. line up edges. then inside gather three layers, makes like a pocket. you will need to hold these three pieces firmly, place thumbs opposite sides inside pocket. place these three layers over back of head. single layer slides over forehead.. make a band on bottom edge and arrange material to form shape of head. hide excess material behind band to make a nice look. you will see this hide technique when making biker bandanas or desert scarves.
The beanie is really easy. 1) Turn the thing inside out 2) Place head in one end 3) Make a couple of twists in the middle 4) Bring the thing back down over your head. 5) Boom! Beanie. Anyone who's every bandaged a stump would understand the motion
I appreciate your video. I need something like a head wrap covering ALL of my hair when I sleep so I don't get my hair near my ears causing ear wax build up over time even though I clean my ears. Its a problem of mine I have. I am a woman with thick hair unfortunately and it creates natural oils that goes into my ears. I wash my hair every day but still... I was wondering how to use the gaitor face wraps for your hair so I can keep my hair completely away from my ears. Braids don't work all the time either lol. I am rambling but definitely saving your video for my tutorial when I get a few of these to wear. Thank you!
