😺Red dismantled his Xmas tree 

😼😻😺 Red the cat was abandoned in our complex as a teenage kitten. As it was winter and freezing outside we took him in.
Red came with anxiety and other issues as he was removed from his mother too soon, he became anxious and aggressive around feeding time and had bow legs because he was fed table scrapings and not Cat food by previous owners.
We took him to the vet, got him eating good quality kitten food and within 2 months his legs had corrected.
The food anxiety issues were treated with a snack feeder and cat TV.
We then realised that he had anger issues as well, at one stage I remember taking him to the vet saying that we had reached the end of the road - the vet explained that ginger cats are highly intelligent and very naughty, he put Red on an anti anxiety medication and a cat calming collar, this helped tremendously.
I noted that every time I changed his collar he would howl so I have now removed that, if he becomes aggressive I just need to show him the collar and he calms down immediately.
I'm also cutting back his meds as he has learnt some good habits - when he needs the odd tablet I place it on the counter and he eats it without any fuss of me trying to administer meds.
Red's ex-neighbour Mischief the tuxedo cat seen in some video's has decided to bring his toy mouse and move in with us as well.
Red and Mischief are approximately 3 years old.
We also have a 20 year old Brindle Purdi who keeps the boys on their toes.
Two new visitors are 8 month old Luna and Willow from another neighbour 🫣
