I am a Christian, and I believe we should keep preparing with a vengeance. Noah was building on the ark til the flood came. We have our own flood coming.
I'm a old man and everybody I know is on the struggle bus and we are heading for the cliff and it seems like the bus driver has his eyes closed... stay strong and buckle up...
We don’t have a date with a bottom of a cliff. Suffering leads us to knowledge. You don’t lose you don’t learn. Us elders find this out after struggling.
Patara I'm a Christian. We don't know when the Lord is coming after us. I feel we are going to see some hard and dark days. We all need to prepare. We need to prepare for our souls and our household. But God is going to have the victory in the end. Hallelujah!!!
I agree! I've heard many different interpretations of Revelation, and the same concerning the Rapture! So, I've decided to pray without ceasing and prepare to the best of my ability, with God showing me the way!
Just remember that the idea of pre-tribulation rapture was made up by a woman less than 200 years ago. If true, someone would have spotted it by now. The reason is that it's not in the Bible anywhere. Jesus is coming again only once. It's a Second Coming, not a Second Coming followed by a Third Coming. When you die, you're in the ground until the Second Coming. As you are asleep, you will close your eyes in death and instantly awaken to your resurrection. To you it will happen in a "twinkle of your eye." That's your perspective. It will be unimaginable. We are alive now and for an undetermined future. We don't know what events may come. Job loss, storms, or war. We must prepare so we can help ourselves and others. We have to help each other. I am old. A few years ago, we had a ten-year blizzard. A black family from NY had just moved in across the street. I was attempting to shovel my sidewalk. Oddly enough, even though I'm in NC, I own a snow shovel. The young woman of the family saw me struggling with the snow shovel and came over to help me. That's what we should all do.
I agree. As a one-time girl scout, I believe God wants me to be prepared. And, as an old woman, I am doing the best I can as I can. I believe that I am still here for a reason. I pray to be useful. Only God knows His timing. 🙏✝️❤️ Patara, thanks for speaking boldly.
Amen. The Word 'Rapture' Is Not in the Bible. Prepping is a good thing. Scaring people about some 'rapture' is false hope and fear-mongering. Everyone tries to tell me to 'fear' this 'rapture' they say is coming. God isn't one of them. He will bring us through with love and faith.
Go back and study Job. Study about the ancient Apostles (who were many of them martyred and slain). Sometimes God does allow some of his servants to go through great suffering and tribulations. Many modern day "Christians" believe they are the exception to this, and they are not. God preserves those who He will (Joseph of Egypt, Noah) and then others get slain (Stephen the Martyr, Apostle Paul, etc) to have a testimony against their persecutors and that current generation
Because of you, I checked my canned goods - that I started buying a few years ago - sorted what I should eat next and rotate them more diligently. Because of you, I paid off my CC with some back-pay I received, and I'm current. Because of you, I take extra cash at the end of the month and store it "under my locked, fireproof mattress". 😉 Because of you, I am way more relaxed and ready to weather the storm. Thank you for 'virtually' kicking my butt in gear, Patara. ❤❤✌️ I am sending you gratitude from the bottom of my heart. Godspeed. 🙏
My husband and I feel like if we are raptured and even if we don’t need all these preps so what it might help lead someone else to Jesus and sustain them while it can. Thank you Jesus for being able to do this.
Pre-trib rapture was made up by a woman less than 200 years ago. It is not biblical. I have read the Bible cover to cover multiple times and studied. It is not there. You might see it in the margins of a Scofield Bible, as he was fooled by that woman's story. Please prepare anyway. I am.
After listening to you, Patara, I "seized" on the phrase "Until I come," so I looked it up in my E-Sword program. I came to the Letter to the Church at Thyratira in Revelation 2. If you read the whole letter - it sounds a lot like the U.S. today, but at the end of the passage (verse 2:25) He says, "Only hold fast what you have until I come." That is (to me) an indisputable message: Prepare for the worst and hope/pray for the best. My life experience has shown me, by faith, that most often the Lord delivers THROUGH the storms of life and rarely OUT of those storms! 💗
@@lynnlamont3485 and balance - the gentleman that built a huge barn to store his stores - yes we need to prepare and have balance for sure! Being an ant as often as I can!
The Bible states use wisdom and knowledge. I have faith in my relationship with God and His Son. I too prepare my home for what ever happens, it rains on the just and unjust at same time. I totally agree with you
He lied, and a lot are gonna die🤦♂️ Paul said... Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. The word "tribulation" occurs 22 times in 22 verses in the KJV. Tribulation isn't Wrath, and the 'End Times' Tribulation isn't Wrath either. Think about it. For the last 2000 years, Christians have died from... 1. Violent persecution 2. Violent storms 3. Wars 4. Famine 5. Plagues 6. Earthquakes 7. Car accidents, diseases, tainted water etc... NONE of these things were God's 'wrath' - yet they are all the same types of things in the first few Seals in Revelation. Tribulation isn't wrath folks. NONE of those people who died were Raptured.
As a pre trib rapture believer, I still say we don’t know how bad it’ll get before it happens??? We are not promised peaches and cream until Christ takes us!
I have thought it will continue to get worse before the start of the tribulation. Even throughout history there have been terrible wars, like WW1 and WW2. Also persecution which does occur in some countries today.
I believe the church (follow no man) has pushed the pretrib rapture for two reasons, to keep Gods children from preparing and to make people believe God has forsaken them when it doesn’t happen on their timeline. God Bless!
I say amen! Pray, plan and prepare. No one knows the day or hour! In the end, all that really matters is that you’re covered by the blood of Jesus. ~Angie
We turn the fear over to Him and work like crazy to prepare while in the peace that passes understanding. Our goal is to be as sovereign as possible to not give into their system.
I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. However, I also believe God wants us to be prepared. We live debt-free and I prepare like my backside is on fire. God bless.
I agree...I believe God is rolling his eyes at a lot of people. I am preparing the best I can (do what needs to be done) and placing my faith where it belongs...in God, our savior Jesus! 🙏❤
I'm a Christian and the Bible says we DON'T know the day or the time. God also did not promise easy times with no trials or tribulations. But He did say he would be with us in those times. In the Bible, anytime there was a victory and God helped, action was required of the people whether it was prayer, alms, marching, praising, etc, action was still required.
I really think that GOD and our discernment has already spoken. I've prepared as much as I could at the time .. I woke up with a stroke 5 months ago, at 59. I was used to taking care of the needs of 6 households. I was a caregiver for the I'll and elderly. My have the tables can turn. Thank GOD I was listening . I'm not the type to ask for help, I'm the type that's a saver and a doer. Things would have been unbearable if I had not been listening and taking care of my household. I was also helping those I was working with, prepare. I was instrumental in helping them get through the pandemic as well. Who ever is not listening, are u good at begging?
Now I’m talking about being raptured. While preparing, make sure there’s plenty of INFORMATION ABOUT OUR LORD and SAVIOR explaining why you are no longer there. People left behind will not just be searching for food, but truth. Very important to make sure that’s included in your preparation. He is coming for His Bride! when? When our Father tells Him to. That’s it! Thank you Patara for your obedience in sharing the truth of Gods Word.😊
I agree with you even though I believe in pre tribulation Rapture. We do not know when that will happen. We are in a solar cycle where food is going to be scarce. My motto is: Pray for the best, Prepare for the worst and Live fully today. I have family members up to their eyeballs in debt just came back from their third cruise. They just say that GOD will provide. I am debt free except what I have ordered this week. My children’s homes are fully stocked by me because they do not see anything bad happening. They have clothes, food and even below freezing sleeping bags. It is funny you just quoted my motto. People are hanging onto their money/ stocks etc when it is all going to collapse. This has been planned for centuries.
Tonight we’re going on a dinner date! It’s our fifth wedding anniversary and we spent the whole day wiring our new addition that we have busted our butts over since spring. Preparations never end. And it makes these moments when we slow down all the more special. Keep going, y’all!
You hit the nail on the head. My 17 year old son will say “I’m waiting on Jesus to tell me.” I said “Well how do you know when he tells you.” He said “Listen mom you’ll hear it but you have to listen for it.” He’s a good kid.
I am a pre-tribber, but I am also a prepper. I've known people who say they are trusting the Lord to take care of them and I tell them that He is taking care of them by allowing them time to prepare, food on the store shelves (for now), the ability to grow gardens, raise animals for food. . He tells us in His Word to pay attention, be alert, be awake! We're not called to just sit on a mountain and wait for Him. We're not destined for God's wrath so we know we'll be gone before that is unleashed, but we still have to endure man's wrath, and how we do it is a testimony of our faith.
Yes, and Amen! We are an arrogant people. Why so many American Christians think we get a pass on suffering is beyond me. There are so many around the world who suffer for the sake of Christ. Being prepared serves the cause of Christ. It allows us to help others and take care of our own.
Your words remind me of the story of the man sitting on his roof during a horrible flood. A neighbor paddled over in his canoe to help him, a rescue boat came for him, even a helicopter tried to retrieve him. To each would-be rescuer he said “God will save me!” When he got to the pearly gates he asked why God had left him to die. God answered, “My son, I sent two boats AND a helicopter!”
Spot on sister!!!❤ I always tell people if you think you won't be helping others it's not true... Somebody shows up with a hungry baby you're gonna feed them.... At the least you're gonna need stuff to hand to them to feed themselves.. A bag of beans a can of soup... Be prepared... Thank you so much, Patara ❤
God has been doing amazing things for me lately. He has been putting me through some trying and tough times and bringing me through saying I told you I am in charge. There has been some chiseling away of the flesh and boy has it been uncomfortable but I am learning to praise him in the middle of it and asking for more chiseling. I so want to be like Jesus who was sleeping on the boat in the middle of the storm!! I thank God in every situation and do what I can to prepare and stay busy and let God do what is out if my power to do! Praise Jesus!!
Preparing the very best I can. If I'm wrong and when I "leave" I leave behind a big pile of preps, I'm not going to care in the least! I'm going to be too busy looking on the face of my redeemer to care about a pile of preps.
I have not "planned for an early rapture" and never expected Jesus to come early. I was raised an orphan and life has been a struggle. I've never had any natural family or foster family either. So...I have always prepared for no one being there except the Lord. Like the Apostle Paul.... I have learned to have a little more than I need and how to get buy on little or nothing. I'm ready spiritually to stay until whatever the "end" is for me. At 69...I think I am just going to die whenever. Be ready whenever it may happen. If I still have food on the shelf and my husband is still alive....he'll eat well. I don't really care one way or another......I have no family who it will matter too either...just my hubby and he has no remaining family that is close either.
As a Christ follower, I believe God is giving every opportunity for people to come to Him. He is giving us time to reach people for Him. Yes I believe in the coming tribulation but who knows when. It may not be in my lifetime, it may be. Who knows. I am going to prepare like there won’t be one in my lifetime and meanwhile be a sky watcher waiting anxiously for His return. A family in our church back in the day were older and she and he both worked and then retired. They believed with everything they had that they would be raptured together. He died and they had no life insurance and no real savings. She lived on SS in a horrid dump trying to make ends meet until she passed. It was so sad and I always remember that.
Preparing like there's NO tomorrow...I feel I will never be ready enough for the world..but keeping the faith for what is coming down the road spiritually speaking...😊 May HIS GRACE BE UPON Y'ALL 😊
During our snowmageddon here in Texas a few years ago, God clearly spoke to me and told me to garden, can and stock up. I did and I am. I don’t believe it is for us but for those who are left behind after the rapture, including my two sons if they are not saved before then. I also have a Bible and info on the rapture and what is next, in the hopes that they will come to believe.
I found it a beatful rendition of that song, People read into so many dam things, Can we pray for them and still tell them to take a hike? LOL My back is healing well and I walked 3 miles today xx so thankful for my pantry and loving my soup xx
I am not out of place here and a saved believer for almost 33 years and yet, I am a full believer in the pre-tribulation rapture and believe we are in the season. BUT we do NOT know how long the season will be until He comes for His church. Prepare like He could not come for 100 years but live like He can come today.
I know we are not suppose to comment of this and I am not saying I know but what my heart tells me we will go through the tribulation . That is an opinion . I do have scripture that I think backs it up but does it really matter when he comes. I know people pray for Him to return soon. I pray he holds off for loved ones who dont know him yet.
Losing faith because of a false doctrine is considered part of the scripture found in Matthew 24. You nailed it. Not enough believers will hear that part of your message. Keep your faith, no matter what.
I get what you mean. But I am preparing like crazy and like there’s no rapture because these people are gonna need it who are left behind. However, we do need to plan for hard times because Jesus never said that we wouldn’t have hard times before the rapture and there’s been hard times in the past and there will be in our future so get ready people.❤
As a sort-of 'History Buff', I'm sure people thought end times were near when WWII broke out and the German Dictator looked just like the antichrist! Truth is, the more independent & self-sustaining people were, the better chance they had of getting through rationing & scarcity. So, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.🇺🇸 👍☕
Amen sister!!!!!! Prepare and plan as if the rapture is not occurring for years, hope that it is within the moment. The most important things is prepare now to go Home. thanks Patara, great video.
I knew what you meant just from the title. When my husband complained about the amount of money I was spending on preps stating he believed in trusting God to protect us, I agreed but responded with “consider the ants.” I did, however, submit and stopped the frantic preparations.
Your words spoke a lot “ frantic”. Getting prepared does not mean spending unwisely. A little here and little there, buying sales items, learning how to preserve your food, learning to garden even a small garden will help you a lot.
Patara, what you and your family are doing is absolutely, scripturally sound! You/we are not crazy for preparing for hard times! Please, keep up the good work with your channel. It is helping more people than you will ever know! Gby and your family!
Our pastor recently said after a recent revelations reading don’t worry about the end of the world worry about if YOU are ready for the end of the world, ( he meant spiritually) But either way ready spiritually or materially. Ask yourself are you ready?
Prepare your hearts, prepare your faith, and be strong!! The evil is here, and it is getting stronger, and tearing family and friends apart. We will feel "alone" but not lonely. As our faith grows, we no longer become angry, but rather peaceful as we build our homes, our hearts, and our minds with Him in the forefront.
Amen I agree 100% Patara words of Wisdom I've had this talk with my grown children n sisters .Only our Heavenly Father knows the day n hour of His son returning so I just do my best God bless you 🙏 ❤
I love you Patara. Praying daily for you and “yours”. I get tired sometimes because I am the only one that’s ‘busy’ ALL THE TIME. As usual, I needed this confirmation
I tell my husband I prep so he can have food if I disappear one day in the rapture. I prep for many reasons…weather, EMP, social unrest, war, financial devastation, medical emergency, to help my family and community if needed.
Have you seen "Before the Wrath?" It has the most beautiful comparison between the rapture and a Galilean wedding. Jesus was Galilean and so were His disciples. He spoke to them in a language they could understand using their culture and customs. Only the Father knows the day and the hour.❤ It really is beautiful. I have had it pressed upon my heart to prepare. Whether that will be for me and my family or for someone who comes later, I do not know. I am only being obedient. Keep preparing! I appreciate everything you do, Patara!
Your Right...Patara !!! ❤ YES... We DO NEED To Prepare... than NOT !!! Since We DO NOT Know... The DAY OR HOUR !!! But Soooo Close Now the Son of Man Returning... !!! 🙏🎺
Spot on Petara! Get ready spiritually first, obey Acts 2:38,39. Secondly, fill your pantry shelves, medicine, and tool sheds! So it was like in the days of Noah....Thanks for sounding the alarm. Some people will not wake up until it starts raining. 😢
You hit the nail on the head! We know not the time! My husband and I are working HARD on our debt and putting up food etc.....there are so many people that are saying...."I won't be here" ....i feel bad for them because they have NO clue. AMEN to ALL you said. Thank you thank you thank you!!!😊
I agree with you Patara. Even Jesus does not know the day or the hour, only the Father knows! Also, the man who does not provide for his family is worse than an unbeliever! There is a shaking coming to bring more people to belief in God & we need to be prepared in all ways, Spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally so we can get through it all & help others through because He uses us to reach others.
THANK YOU, Petera!! And Pray, Prep and stay out of the way. Please people, don't forget about WATER. Have as many plans as you can, store as much as you can and have MANY ways to obtain, gather and filter it. God help us ALL!!!
I feel I am preparing for me and mine or for those that God needs to preserve after I am gone. The Bible is clear to be debt free and to be like the ant and be busy preparing and work while it is day because night is coming.
