Very nice and well explain, like usual ( this is how some nice people help crypto comunity ) ... I like your office, looks like you have all you need for trading and Yt videos ( i see it in last videos ,befor this :)
Great Video.... Can you have 2 different wallets/accounts on Ledger Live software? Also can you run the software on your Mobile and if so how do you actually connect the STAX to your phone (I assume via Bluetooth) ?
Yes, there is passphrase support in the settings. You access them on the stacks device itself. You do have to advance to the second screen of settings. There is a right facing arrow in the bottom right corner. It will take you to the next screen of settings. In the "advanced" area is the place to place to set your passphrase.
Hey Dad, have you done a video on adding the so called '25th word' into Ledger seed phrase for added security? Im hearing all sorts of stories about it. Want to do it but need some specific tutorial on it.

Hey dad - what are your initial thoughts on the device itself? Your the first video on this 2 year long wait. Wondering if you think it was worth the wait or not. ......to unbox or to resell, hmmmm.

When you do the recov ery it will bring in all your Crypto, like for ex ample BTC SOL, LTC if they are on the device?" do all the wallets come back? I have a defective keystone and want to move to the Stax, I have 4 coins on the keystone
When you do a restore with an existing seed phrase, you will gain access to all of the wallets that were created from that master private key. Unfortunately, it's not always a seamless process. If you're using a seed phrase from a different hardware wallet manufacturer, the derivation path each wallet uses might be slightly different. You will most likely see most of your accounts, but there might be a few that don't show up properly. It doesn't mean they're not there. It just means that the new wallet that you're using might not have access to all of them.
@@CryptoDad I went with a keystone bcause the Stax was just not ready yet, and happy with how it functions but battery did not last 6 months. so looking to move away from that hardware. this is what prompted the questions. I can presume this device signs via Bluetooth, not Air Gapped ?
Hello Crypto Dad, is it possible to combine the 24-word passphrases from multiple old Ledger devices on the new Ledger? Specifically, I would like to enter the passphrases from three different devices into one Ledger. I'm from Germany and apologize if you've already covered this or if my English isn't perfect. Thank you in advance!
Unfortunately, you can't do it that way. There's no way to combine seed phrases like that. The best thing to do would be to use the seed phrase that has the most crypto on it to set up your device and then transfer directly from the other two devices (wallet to wallet)
Hi Cryptodad, if you own both the Ledger Nano S and the Ledger Stax, can you divide the number of coins between these 2 as desired? So not as you explain in the video, that all coins are on both one and the other. How long is the battery life of the Stax and how do you charge it? The storage capacity of the Stax is relatively low, do you think there will be an update to increase this? Or is this a hardware issue and this is not possible?
So of course, you can divide your assets between your devices. Simply set up your ledger STAX as new, and transfer some of your coins from your ledger S. The battery life seems to be pretty good. I don’t have any official estimates, but it seems to hold its charge pretty well. I would imagine if you’re not using it that it would take quite a while to dissipate. When I’m using it, it’s mostly plugged in so I’m not really worried about the battery life. I don’t believe the storage capacity can be upgraded without releasing a completely new product.
That’s exactly what I’m demonstrating in this video. You set one up and then restore the other using the original seed phrase from the first device. Now the two devices are mirror images and they access the same accounts.
Hello! Tell me, does Stax support the Russian language? Also, tell me, you haven’t ordered onekey pro, I’m choosing between stax and onekey pro, I want to make the right choice?
First of all, there’s no reason to have to choose between one or the other. You can buy both. (I own both) But as far as the language goes, so far, the only languages I see on the STAX are French, Spanish, and English.
Pure fantasy. Ledger can’t extract anything. Ledger Recover is a service that allows you to export your private key for cloud storage, but it is entirely optional.
