To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need. •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, and your pet so you have a study buddy (if you have one) Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight (not mine! but copy paste it around!!)
This is a very good Pomodoro. My favorite so far. The time just flew by and there are not any other pomodoros out there with a 40hz binaural beat. It worked really well for me while studying for Comprehensive Preliminary Exams for my PH.D. program.
40 Hz is in the gamma wave range and is associated with higher levels of cognitive functioning, such as memory recall and problem-solving. However, it is not recommended to listen to binaural beats in the gamma range for extended periods of time as it can cause anxiety and stress.
That's great but as an adult with adhd I really prefer the pomodoros that are the other way around - background sounds with no music during the working sessions and music during the breaks/ Besides that - wonderful work! Really looking forward when we will be able to put on some kind of 3d glasses and immerse ourselves in this kind of atmospheres completely. That'll be fun 😀
Hello! Thank you very much for your words :) I'll take note! Regarding music, I try to create abstract "music", that is, without repetitive patterns in melodies or rhythms, so that the attention is not focused on the music, but rather it is like an environmental wrapper that focuses you on what is important, your task. That is my goal, although it is not always achieved. 😅 Thanks again!
I have a request: can you make a version with rain? Some kind of storm or something. And this atmosphere was good, I felt like I was studying in space. Hi, do you mean rain without music during the whole work/study time? I'll take note. I've been very busy for a while with no time to create. But I hope to start creating new videos very very soon. Regarding this video, I generally try to create abstract "music", which does not have repetitive or predictable rhythmic or melodic patterns, to avoid "getting hooked" on the music, and which is simply a background wrapper that helps to concentrate. At least it works for me. Greetings and thanks for commenting!
I can feel my brain welcoming new neuropathways for focusing! It's a very comforting experience. Instead of scrambling around and fighting off distractions in order to be productive, it is relaxing and being supported by the new structure it is creating through the pattern being created here by your thoughtful work. Thank you so much for the simplicity too. It makes it that much more powerful. Truly a healing opportunity. Sending you love and appreciation!
Wow! Thank you so much for your words and for sharing your experience. It's really exciting to read you. What I try to do is create abstract "music", without repetitive patterns in terms of rhythm and melody, without recognizable structures, so that the mind is not anchored to the music, but rather the music is like a wrapper that shelters you in the background and accompanies you to focus on what really matters, your task or objective. Thank you very much for writing. I will soon start uploading new videos :) Greetings!
ooh! Sorry, didn't see your comment until today. Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very glad that you like the video. I hope to continue creating content that you find useful and that you like. See you around here. Good luck and success. 🙌😊
