Traveling alone in a foreign country can be scary, but hopefully this guide will help you feel more confident and safer traveling alone in Malaysia. I took the train from KL to IPOH with no guidance beside some research on the internet and asking a lot of questions in person at the train station! It was very easy and smooth! I can't imagine trying to navigate places where I don't speak the language with the family. Just got back from vacay with the family domestic and that was already quite hectic with a 5 and 2 year old lol.
