Gonna fix the rattle with different wheels. Also put a stopper, as it got close a.couple.times to the top of spike. 3 to 4 week downtime I'm told. However cedarpoint is planning on making this up to us by increasing the initial launch to 101 mph
Man this sucks! I sure hope this is back open by June. Me and several of my friends have a trip planned to Cedar Point for 2 days on June 3rd and 4th. Have had this planned for 6 months. It’s a 13 hour drive for us and if TT2 isn’t going to be operating, it’s definitely going to throw a wrench into our plans. This ticks me off. Hopefully they get this fixed real soon.
Yeah I know you’re not the only one that has planned a trip there this summer for TT2. I hope it’s open for you guys! You’ll have to come back to this video and let us know.
**cough** called it **cough** Honestly, I thought it would destroy itself in the summer when the real wear and tear and roughness would show from heat. One person said the silver train had a crack in the wheel, but that is just a rumor as far as I know. One thing's for certain, they closed the ride because it was damaging itself in some way and they have to address it before it gets worse. Prototype or not, this isn't good considering the ride hasn't even been open for 3 weeks. This means they failed to test the train properly for the ride they were sticking it on.
