yes I am one of them. I have followed college ball but never pro and here I am not caring if the team wins or loses, just getting my entertainment from CC and wanting more. Here she showed the defensive skills they kept saying she does not have

Truly awful. Why does she play Wallace so many minutes? Her production is shit. Wtf happened to Smith? She's a -24 in like 15 minutes of play. Fever Coach played great defense on Caitlin by benching her for almost 5 minutes. So hard to score from the bench. The L. A. Sparks should credit Fever Coach as one of their best helpers.

You're seeing a generational change going on in the WNBA. Clark and other younger players are coming in playing a faster style that has been developed in women's college hoops. The rest of the WNBA is playing an older slower style with bigger players with their backs to the basket. I'm seeing that if the league wants to become popular they will need to start changing to how the younger talent coming into the league are trending.

I actually LOVE Fagbenle! Her and Clark are really on the same page. She needed more touches tonight though. But her and Clark work super well together. I also like Smith. She’s got a nice midrange game a shots near and under the bucket. Boston is starting to warm up to Clark. They’re all starting to understand Clark can and will get you the rock if you’re rolling to the cup or get to your spot. Mitchell is great at pressing the action to the rim. Her 3 ball seems reasonably reliable. But she gets a little tunnel visioned in her game, like she feels threatened by Clark’s game…that it’ll take away her shine. If she wises up a little she’ll see Clark wants to get her her looks, as she did tonight cutting to the rim then kicking out to Mitchell for the wide open 3. If Mitchell can grape this concept, her ability to press the action at times is great, because she puts the other teams on their heels. But she can take you out of a game with the same action at times. So she needs to recognize. But I’m liking her game. Then a couple of the other gals are playing nice in spots. I see real potential. But Clark is the engine and the engineer. Coach has got to recognize as does the rest of the team. If they do, I think they’ve got enough talent to do some damage. But the ball has got to be in Clarks hands. She’s braking passes nobody else is making. She’s got great court vision and awareness. She’s showing she can get to the cup, and that opens up a lot of stuff. You can’t foul her, she makes you pay. When you double her she finds the cutter. She’s just dangerous at all times when she has the ball. The only person who stops her…is the coach…she can run all night. This game was there to be won. But the coach made it about her…and by the time she’d relented…the game had gotten away from them. I don’t want to rag on her…but at the moment she’s pulling all the wrong strings at the wrong time. imho 😊

Watch Ace, Sun, and Liberty play. They have a controlled play pattern on both sides of the floor and clearly indicative of a high basketball IQ coach and staff.
Yeah I get what you're saying about shot selection but she made so many of them and not just logo 3. She's able to shoot layups either hand. She's excellent in assists. She does have too many turnovers but I think that's an adjustment to playing with professional women where all the players will be at a higher level. It won't be college where 3 out of 5 are top level. She'll get it. Her off season training is insane. She's a hard worker because she's such a competitor. And she loves basketball.
I know the coach wants CC to play a slower game because that’s what her players are used to BUT now players like Boston who is the reason I started watching women’s college basketball are no longer able to play a faster game I love Boston who is supposed to be their franchise player and I know the coach wants to be loyal to her, but with CC bringing so much speed to the game Boston has to lose the extra weight and only then you will see these players become the best one, two players in the league. I saw so much Pretty Privilege and White Privilege on display .. NOT. Caitlin was playing on a different level. Defense and Offense, rebounding and shot blocking. This was an absolute masterpiece of a game by her.
GM and coach have to go as well as the attitudes of some of the players. Clark can’t win on her own! This girl is doing everything she can and all she gets in return is an incompetent coach and minimal on court support.
