Any kind of mechanical, electrical modifications in a car can be reason of this type of issues. It's not for 100% but it's a genuine reason to face break down issues. Now a days most of the cars have semi conductor and controlled by sensors. So modifications from outside can be a nightmare of your road trip.. This car headlight has been modified few days back. So there is a chance for some electrical malfunctions.
It happened to me as well when I went to kodaikanal trip. My safari was just 10 month old. Never expected this from safari.. for my car, the issue was in clutch teeth which was broken. TATA arranged me a tow and my car was sent to the nearest service centre . Trip was not good because of my car issue.
Terrain mode lights litting up is sign of DEF sensor malfunction. I suffered this tata guys fixed this with help of computer... however they advised to ignore this and run for 50-60 km continuously following which this would disappear. Nevertheless now the issue is resolved

Recently, we had a horrible experience with safari fuel leak. Getting roadside assistance was a nightmare I felt like I could have spent this 27lac in a different brand.

My Friend's S class benz, got brake down on the very next Week, crew came and taken to service centre and given back later.. As far as I remember, he never said "Benz is falling to make good cars"..But if out of 10000, any TATA cars gets brake down, people came with the same comment... Because people have decided TATA = Crap !!
@@sanalkumarvg2602 my friend service of tata is really crap I myself own a hyundai Elite I 20 and an ford ecosport titanium s diesel and if I had to compare between the two then as of now Hyundai's service is better than ford, Owned tata sumo and a indica a decade ago service was crap then and now as well!
@@AS_7419 dear brother, TATA was a disaster, yes "WAS" a disaster..Now they are in the pace of improvement...Now there are many good service centers and some bad ones too.. So just go for the good one.. In my state Kerala, many good service centers are there..good number of sales too..In EV sector, Nexon EV, Tigor Ev are having good sales and having good reports..Hyundai i20 and Altroz check the maintenance cost.. You will know the difference..And I20 got very poor safety too..So the era of TATA Indica has gone..Now this is New TATA
It happened with my Safari. Battery was down because Car was standing for 1 week then vehicle was not able to start. When RSA person tried to jump start it was showing all terrain mode on & vehicle was not started showing ‘Malfunction detected’ message. Next day service Center person came with new battery & vehicle started. Then he cleared all DTC.
I'm currently facing the same issue, though I did not face the complete breakdown yet. But the drive mode related buttons have stopped working and facing a major power loss in the pickup. To me, this happened right after I filled my tank. Someone told that maybe diesel was not BS6 compliant or of good quality. Do you buy this reason of non-compliant fuel? Waiting for your next video. @@rakeshgupta8 Yes, the problem was finally solved in my next service. It was due to some dirt in the fuel injection system, thus engine not getting enough power. Post that, I never faced any problem related to this. In addition to this, I always use diesel of >80 fuel density.
A big learning that came out for me that automatic parking break function will put you in danger. Gadi jitna ho sake simple hona zaroori hai kum sey kum toe toh ho jati easily. Isliyeh old Scorpio and Fortuner are selling in high numbers. They have so less features that it won't make you stuck like these where parking brake has to be manually disengaged. At least troubleshooting should be provided when such case happens so there is no hassle to call mechanic to do things for you to get it towed.
If such is the case then Mercedes S class will not sell in India, but it does. Tata cars have such silly issues always. I am fortunate that my 1.5 years old Harrier has no issues till date.
@@KMA930 have never seen Mercedes driven or abused like Toyota fortuner or scorpio or even bolero. Mercedes will be surely dead if even driven 50% of the above.
Mere pass bhi Nexon diesel AMT hai same problem hui thi 2 baar software issue tha aur 5 baar breakdown alag se hui hai bahoot problems hai Tata ki gaadi yo mai.
I think dpf problem in your car if your car start put it in 2 or 3 gear and keep ur engine 3000rpm for 20or 30 kms problem will solved if it will not work then contact to tata workshop they will solve it in half hour, this problem is in all bs6 diesel cars.
Any other manufacturer would ensure you're traveling to your destination and the car is headed to the workshop without many questions. This is a joke of RSA.
Customer service guy was trying to be very helpful from his side you should have given him reply properly instead of being sarcastic. I know this is very wrong and should have happen with anyone at night I also own a Tata Car. Afterall it's a machine so breakdowns are part of it. Hope you never have to face such situations again and your car get repaired soon.

Are mere bhai ye bass dpf issu hai.. Gadi aram chali jayegi 200 300km.. Bass kisi v service center ja ke .. 2 dpf cencer ate hai.. Dono ko 80rs ke cleaner se saaf karna hai bass... Apka battery v low ho gaya hai...
I own same car runed only 36k and now it's third break down in just 1.5 years not much good experience just before this I own ecosport it has runed 75k and not even single break down was there till 75k km

Ye to accha nahi hua.but penic honey ki jarurat nahi hai.mechanical issue hai ,ye kisi k saath bhi ho sakta hai,jis tarah aap se baat Hui hai tata motors staff se ,to prblm solve ho jayega. Problem ek hi hai ki ye break down kahi bhi kisi bhi road,area, hills,m ho sakta hai, agar koi person with family travel kr rha hai to kitni problem aa sakti hai,I hope eis tarah ki technology ko aur behtar karney ki jarurat hai tata motors ko.
These irritating questions are such an annoying phase from road side assistance. Shame on Tata. At least ask relevant questions to the owner and try to assure him in difficult times like these. These tata electronic engineers are totally useless, they never check even the minor electric probable problems during regular service. In fact they are unaware of these situations only which explains the lack of training from Tata motors
Tata and mahindra worst service and will remain, reason people buy maruti, safety kam hai atleast gadi chalti hai. Tata mahindra safety hai lekin gadi service center khadi rehti hai to kya faeda aisi safety ka 😂
bro meri superb 2 baari bnd pd gayi h har baat par desh ko kosna bhi sahi nahi hai mechanical cheez h kisi car ke sath ho sakta hai. even my friend bmw 5 series bhi highway pr ruki hui hai
