When we needed help for 2 months (between service and first ever civvi job) to pay housing,food etc we were told that because after doing ‘our colour’ service and now received a part pension (joke) we were entitled to FEK ALL. Put the disabled wife in care, rehome your dogs and ask the RBL to house you, you’re entitled to nothing!!….they ended by then saying …” oh,is your wife a minority because she can get ……..” you can imagine what we replied!…. It is a health issue for those who do not have the option to breathe elsewhere. Rights to smoke where you like or not a ‘ rights issue’ if there are other accommodations made to smoke, outside, another room. As a former smoker in my youth I have empathy for smokers, if their smoking doesn’t impede my right to breathe. Cheers.
